The idea behind this sketchbook is to chronicle the collective endeavours of Finnish aspiring digital artists.
What we hope to achieve with this is to inspire each other to push our work to the limit and beyond, as well as have a shared space to post our work and share any ideas or knowledge based on our experiences as growing artists. Alongside sharing our personal artworks, we would like to preserve this sketchbook for forthcoming collaborations aswell as being a newsfeed for future Livestreams.
Critique is both welcome and encouraged.
As it stands we are FIVE in number:
The list will change in time.
Let the games begin!

As it is, i may be the least talented finconaut present, but one day i'm gonna rule them all
You sexy dudes, I need to join this party.
Here's a character design and the process steps I did for a game that we are working on with a couple of friends, gotta love fantasy, gotta love 'em goblins.
Nasty little fellows.
dun dun dun.. some night sketching
Keppo, you're laying down good values, the characters look really solid. I'd like to see a stronger, more thought out structure in them though. How does the silhouette look?
Here's some crap for the mill.
The portrait is awesome Rotor, love the colors! Also Keppo, good job with the value characters, simplification is a great tool for learning.
Couple of fun fast experiments, need to start doing more of these.
Wow boys! You are kicking some serious ass here.
I'll be mostly lowering the average artwork quality of this thread with my WIPS but I'll quickly introduce myself first. My name is Juhani Jokinen, I'm 25 years old and live in Helsinki. For the past 5 years I worked at Frozenbyte and was responsible for the concept design and promo materials for Trine and Trine 2. Currently I'm employed by RedLynx which is owned by Ubisoft.
Enough chitchat, Here's a piece that I recently finished and a WIP I'm currently working on
