Long time lurker finally getting around to posting up my stuff. Updates will be ongoing with the intention to constantly improve! I have my art desk and work area set up nice - I'm amazed at how scattered all of the elusive pens and pencils have become, but now they are confined to shelves for convenient access. Along with everything else.
Comfort is also is important. The chair I use is pretty high so I have an apple box to rest my feet on as the drafting table is pretty tall as well, and a big window in front of me to stare out of - there may be a tree right in front of me but hey, I can make out people and houses through the leaves, and I can still watch the sun set. Sitting in one spot for too long distracts from creative input and can starve the senses, so I think it's best to vary where I draw as much as possible and move around.
Now to imagine myself as a wanderer out to explore new things.

These look nice!
Are you using quache?
Hey man nice start. Not much to really comment on since youre just starting to post. So what direction are you headed in with your art?
At the moment I'm just drawing things that come to mind or derive inspiration from things around me. I just came out of a dry period in terms of creativity and I'm letting my mind wander on the page and build up momentum with the habit of drawing daily, before delving more into serious study. The direction I eventually want to go is to fully understand the muscles and bones and how to draw them, so that it becomes intuitive. Any area I feel weak in, I want to focus on and try to improve.
Thanks for stopping by!

I really like your eagle/dragon head sketches above and the floating city concepts from post #3. All your shapes seem so easily dynamic... definitely a nice start. I look forward to seeing you try your hand at people.
Back again this week, posting some environments done with a water soluble ink, in this case pelican, with dip pens - first lines then added water. Some of my sketches and drawings, contemplating creatures and monsters.
I'll be going to figure drawing this week I think, so I'll post up some figure studies.
those are some fantastically adorable little creatures. ♥
I very much love your landscape sketches, it amazing how much detail with a single dull shade.
Your sketchbook is amazing! ' u ')/
Your stroke are really nice. Love that teletubby doodle!
Some work from my watercolour pad. I use water soluble ink pens and felts, and a koi water brush!
