This is my second attempt at making a weapon using Maya. It's a model for an Unreal mod my brother and I are working on. I wasn't really sure how high I should go with polys so I just went with 1,500 polys/triangles as the restriction. I ended up with 1413.
I still feel like it's missing something, but I don't know what. Other than textures of course. Any crits are appreciated.
it looks like its been crossed with an m203 .
there's a bend between the chamber and the barrel, might not make for the best accuracy
humans are like snowflakes, totally unique yet useless unless in groups
Thanks for the comments, I didn't realize how bent it looked.
kyliegirl: actually it's suppose to be a switch for the light, but a grenade launcher would definately give it more punch. So I just made an opening for it and now it should look more like a grenade launcher.
-Reduced the poly count to 1321
-Smoothed some edges
-Straightened it out so it should shoot correctly.
Anything else I should do?
small tip, because the weapon will allways be on ur lower right of ur screen only put on details on the left side of the gun.. No need to put polygons on places where u will not see them
Vatos Locos carnale!
People will see them in the game though
