I'm really struggling right now, I'm pretty new to digital art, I just seem to be stumped on anything that isn't super simplistic. I just sketched out a mech type idea, went fine, it wasn't meant to turn into anything spectacular, just practise.
I sketch, I block it out it out to try to find the rough tones I want, try to proportion it, then from there it's just a wall, adding any type of detail I just lose all momentum. I seem to be stuck doing portrait type pieces or landscape speedpaints because of their simplicity.
Suggestions please? I realise to improve I simply have to do, but what I'm doing currently doesn't feel constructive past the sketch and working on the palette because after that I just struggle to get ANYTHING else put down
