Go for a bigger contrast, will look much better, something like this;
Keep on doing more greyscales for values.

One of the things to tackle seeing things as a whole is gestures but note when doing the gesture you are suppose to be drawing the energy of the pose and not those outside contours or "outlines" so you end up drawing them on the inside. Try 5-10 sec gestures then you will HAVE to see things as whole. Another thing could be to sum up things into real large shapes like boxes, cylinder, cones etc.
You are getting better with each and every step you make. These
greyscales are much better, I am so happy. Keep on gluing little
sweet things to the table, and never skip your home work.
LtPlissken: i'm trying, trying, trying to.
kamikazel33t: hey, thanks for the visit! seeing things as a whole is something i really, really want to learn, so i appreciate every advice i can get ^^
lots of strange stuff from imagination... experiments with light, unfinished trash, practices.
school is killing my timn again but i will try to keep up my practices
Ah another person younger then me I need to get better faster :p.
Love your sketchbook really inspiring stuff. really like your linework and the way you draw faces.
triggerpigking: hey there, thanks for the visit oh, i think that i'm not a hard competitor for you^^

URGH. conceptart prevented me from uploading for a while and it's still not working properly for me...

practices from mind
YAY! conceptart is finally working again.
meanwhile i've been torturing my sketchbook... pages and pages of scribbles, studies and nonsense which
i'm about to spam right now.
so let's start burning your eyes :
thanks for having a look and
still + ref
Looks like you are hard at it man! Great work! I really like your latest studies. That torso came out awesome.
It's been a while since I dropped a comment here! I have to say you are progressing nicely and getting better at painting. I think doing some really short gestures will really help you improve because right now I feel some of your figures are stiffly posed so just keep bang out some short 30 sec gestures for a while and you'll get better in regards to that. I have to say though I am really seeing the volume in your figures now so good job!
chevy28360: hey, thanks a lot. i already thought of making more painting/anatomy studies like this ^^
kamikazel33t: nice to see you back you're pretty right about my figures... i'll definitely practice poses and movement soon. thanks for your visit and advice!
mind, still life doodle, arm study, posemaniacs (left page)
Your sketchbook continues to be inspiring man keep it up.
keep it up man.
Some neat anatomy sketches you are on the good way ! keep it up
triggerpigking: thank you a lot! this kinda encourages me to practice more
MrJackk: thanks, i'll try to (:
moar, moar, moar
mind, hands from life, mind
Great studies! Keep pumping them out!
I'm a peacock, you gotta let me fly!
V3T: thanks, i'll try to
trashy little update

charcoal, digital editing on the same thing, idunno
cA returned...again! hope it will finally last.
time to spam my stuff
mind (hands from life)
ref/mind + life
We should call you “master of life drawings” or “animal friend of artistic kingdom” you can
choose from those names, cause you are became so good at drawing them. As I sat and watched
the birds from the window, I remembered you and your free and lovely personality. Can you
imagine the world without you? Cause I definitely cannot. Even in the biggest sandstorm you
would be like the shiniest grain of sand. Your determination and strong will is shining like
red moonlight on the summer sky, it’s surely understandable that you will never give up, and
that you status and qualities will only grow higher as the highest mountain on the north pole.
As I watch your drawings longer and longer, I can conclude that you have a strong imagination,
which can be turned to a deadly weapon, with just a bit of tweaks. You don’t even understand
the strength of your power, and the heights that you can reach with your soft hands. Your
name will be echoing through the halls of the saint ground, so do not let us down. I am
a big fan of you and of your art, the day will be celebrated when I met you.
