Recently I have been looking into this school, but I have a few questions
and concerns about the education. The main problem is accreditation. The prices
are amazing, and the student work that is coming out is wonderful. Though
as many of you can understand, I have parents who worry about not getting
a degree. I have read through these forums and on other websites about
conceptual artists' requirements for jobs. This has lead me to see that most
employers will take a good portfolio over a degree any day. Though the
evidence and examples have not seemed to be stable in an argument for my
case to attend a non-accredited school.
-If I may ask, could someone or some of you provide examples to help their
consciences, and partially mine?
I have also read that the school has had students that have received
contracts to some companies dealing with their industry. Which, in my
opinion, shows a lot about the education without saying much. But to
provided multiple example would be wonderful.
-Well on the matter of question asking, when are the visitation dates for
the Richmond pod? I hadn't seen anything on the TAD website dealing with it.
-Is the $300 a month pod usage included with tuition?
-Are their any connections with local apartments or hotels for summer
workshops? and/or the school year.
