Hello, I'm not an artist, but I hope you'll find my idea to be interesting.
So, http://blackboard.byethost2.com is a web site I've created just for fun. It's a very simple site: black square canvas, everybody can draw on it whatever he or she wants and save. Everybody tries to fill its emptiness. But the point is that with every new drawing saved the previous drawings are darkened so the canvas is "bottomless" - finally, it "absorbs" everything, every your drawing, every your idea. So we try to fill the emptiness of the black square completely - and we can't What do you think about it?
Now everything is saved. Nothing will be wiped into the void. You can navigate through the history of the board.

Nice penis there
incase no one else gets it, there is a penis on the board I drew on, seems to be a troll
Crit for a crit!
I think that's a cute and fun idea. Seems pretty interesting to me.
Da-da-da-daaaaah! Chubby Link.
Lol this is interesting xD I drew something on the board just now. It was just too tempting.
Hey, that's pretty fun I think I managed to hide the penis even a little more than the last person...
Thank you all for good opinions
I know there are a lot of various sites for collective drawing that are much more cool and advanced. I don't pretend to compete with them. Though I hope it has an interesting individual feature - vanishing drawings.
In general, the whole conception of the site as the infinite black square canvas seems to me to be very symbolic. It's like our Universe. Without a consciousness mind it's dark and empty. And the mind tries to fill the emptiness of the Universe with an infinite number of various ideas and concepts (like a flying penis, for example ). So, a bit of fun and joke, a bit of some more deep ideas - it's a good mixture, I think
Perhaps you should put a link to it in your sig, otherwise we are eventually going to forget about it. If I'm regularly reminded of the site, I'll regularly go draw something on it. :-)
My sketchbook thread:
Nice: now we have turned this thread into a "post-your-blackboard-contribution" thread. So the board is after all not getting wiped clean... :-)

http://www.conceptart.org/forums/sho...d.php?t=192127"Everything must serve the idea. The means used to convey the idea should be the simplest and clear. Just what is required. No extra images. To me this is a universal principle of art. Saying as much as possible with a minimum of means."-John Huston, Director
and here I thought I was going to see some gestures ...... of a different kind.
I used to participate in these, but the problem is people will just wipe it out and draw genitals.
Lol this site is insane. I leave for a day and I come back and the penises are gone and there are fat chicks now :s
hey are we reviving the "draw a penis" thread? that would epic!
oh just saw it's "fat chicks". shame... draw one with a penis.
I offer you an improved version of the site. Now everything will be saved! Nothing will be wiped into the void
Now you can navigate through the history of the board. With every pressing of the button "Show me the past" you'll move step by step, picture by picture towards the past.
You can see five saved drawings simultaneously on the board. I think it's enough - more than five would give a mishmash.
Hope it will work properly without bugs.
