Hi all! I'm by far not new here, however neither have I been too active since I joined but now I'm hoping to change that.
The last 4 years of my life has been spent on deviantART and whilst it's a great site, I've kinda started to believe that it has stunted my growth as an artist a little. I think that if I had spent those 4 years on here instead, I would be in a total different place right now, and probably alot better at art, or at least... alot less generic.
So, I've decided to take charge of the situation and become more active here so I can get real feedback and get turned in the right direction. I'm currently studying animation at Uni, and my goal for the next 3 years is to end up with a badassed portfolio
Looking forward to speaking with everyone!
How do you feel that Deviant Art has stunted your growth? I'm only curious, not asking you defend yourself. It's just that I considered making a page there in the past, though never got around to it.
