If I understood correctly, the portfolio you present for the scholarship has to be directed to the course you are interested in. ( if you apply for 3D entertainment you will have to include 3D characters, vehicles, etc) I am interested in Entertainment 2D and my question is, could I include 3D material? Would including for example a character done in 3D be received as a positive aspect or would it be completely irrelevant and presenting a digital painting would be better.
On one hand it can show that the artist has a variety of skills and knows about the final result of his concept work, since 2D concepts almost always end as 3D, but on the other hand it may be "off topic" since it is 2D entertainment and not 3D.
Thank you for your time,
