My name is Christian Grajewski I am a Professional Automotive Interior Designer and working for the Volkswagen Design Center Potsdam.
During my study i was crazy about concept Design. This got stuck with my permanent job at VW, wich is mega great but as well really time consuming...
Approximately a year ago, I forced my self to start again with "concept design" in my little spare time. Almost all of the sketches are done with a ballpoint pen and sometimes I used a marker.
So If you like the little notch here, you can see everithing from this "year" on my new blog http://christiangrajewski.blogspot.com/
I would really like to improve my creature and concept Design, so all your Feedback is very welcome!
i REALLY dig the way you push the shapes. it does some awesome work for your designs.
This stuff is great! Just subscribed to your blog. I like seeing how you approach your subject from a industrial design stand.
Yeah I'm liking these drawings a lot. I WISH I could do technical drawing like you. You have the skill and creativity to do concept art. Honestly--probly not having enough free time is the only thing keeping you from it.
If you do find some time--try to make some more complete designs. They don't need to be in color, but they shouldn't look like sketches. Then put them together into a nice presentation. Try to make a concept art portfolio, in other words. Then stick it up here on the artists looking for jobs forum and maybe you can do some freelance gigs in your free time! Or hell, just look into what game companies you might apply for.
