Little intro: I'm a brazilian guy, 22 years old, graduated in advertising. I did work on graphic and web design area, but now my goal is drawing/painting. I hope is not too late for this career change.

Sorry about the quality, my camera and scanner sucks.
Hey guys, Ive started to use Loomis`s Successful Drawing to study some fundamentals. The books starts with perspective.
And I have a question: what you guys think, should I focus on get all I can from this book until I finish it or should I study Loomis`s Successful Drawning and some others authors at the same time, like Nicolaides, Vilppu, Bridgman, Hampton, Goldfinger, etc?
ps: sorry for any language mistake ^^"
The drawings (I`m in the beginning yet):
my first self portrait, i think i liked. just something in the eyes that bothers me, and maybe the flatness of the face, need some more 3d appearance because the rendering wasnt good.
Some Bridgmans studies...
a self potrait and a failed tentative to do some figure from imagination, my skill in anatomy sucks hard, so I must practice more.
