I had started a thread a while ago for this but am unable to find it so started another one. This is a Sculpture that I started and Finished in High School. But about a year ago i decided that I wasn't happy with it so I started over and began to really put thought in it this time. But i didn't just have this idea over night but over the years i had thought how to make it better and how to perfect my Tech. I have one Original black and white photo of what it looked like before. and I will also be posting what I've done in the past week. i could do more but i work... so lol yeah that thing called making a living

Sorry if I didn't read it but is this made out of tape and paper? Wow super impressed man.
This is great.
"A drawing is not necessarily academic because it is thorough, but only because it is dead. Neither is a drawing necessarily academic because it is done in what is called a conventional style, any more than it is good because it is done in an unconventional style. The test is whether it has life and conveys genuine feeling."- Harold Speed
I am beginning to use the Paper mache Clay more and more and it will make my sculpture stronger and allow fine detail when i get to the very end. Here I put the clay on his hip joints and rib cage. Also put it on his knees but they look funny at the moment and they need to be fixed before I show them. Here you go. Let me know what yall think!!!!
WoW this is fantastic!!! Your anatomy work is really great, and i'm just so impressed by how your making this from paper and masking tape!! I can't wait to see the end result.. Your first one was great but this is going to be 10 times better from what i can see!! I used to love watching Dragon Ball Z aswell..... -ged.
Just a Quick update. Paper Mached his face and neck will soon finish the entire head. Today i will be paper macheing more of the left arm and working on my Second Sculpture that i will soon make a thread for. Thanks DA
Any updates on this??
Hey Guys! Sorry for not updating sooner. Been busy, but today I added the paper clay so i can strengthen the sculpture. It will also give me the ability to sand down the paper clay and give it a nice smooth surface giving it a stone look. Which I am very excited about. So I know the last picture you may be thinking it dont look that good, well like I said it will when I sand it down. I have more pics will add more later, have to head to work. let me know what you guys think. Thanks later

Wow, impressive. I wonder how much the finished sculpture will weigh?
Jealous that you have enough space to make something like this.
Got any photos of the armature underneath?
