i'm new here. i'm a beginner artist and i'm here to learn and grow as an artist. i know this forum is filled with very talented people who will show me my mistakes and point me to the right direction. i want to be a concept artist and i will do whatever it takes to get to the level where i wanna be.
i did those figures from Bridgman's book today. the charcoal drawing was my first time trying to work with a charcoal. i did that second figure drawing without having any knowledge of anatomy, this was just to test myself before i start studying Bridgman's book. as you can see i struggle when it comes to shading. i know it's stupid but i really don't know how to shade. i do not know in what direction i need to go.
i will try to post everyday. so please stay with me and share your knowledge.
I like the movement in your figure drawings and the shading in your still lifes. My only complaint is that the muscles in your figures have edges that are to sharp/triangular and defined. They're much more subtle than you're making them. Otherwise, good work, and keep posting!

A lot of nice work there! Don't worry, people will come to see a hard worker
Best thing you can do right now is keep searching for the understandings you crave. Once you've learned something one way, try it another way. But fuel your fire with some fun drawings that you do only for you, on the side... you don't even have to share them. Just do them, and you will have your fuel ... like fusion
