Took a stab at drawing Captain America. I wanted him to resemble a fridge. Unfortunaly, the handle and door looked stupid, so I just kept the size.
you know, i always thought Capt. America's design was one of the corniest things in existence, and I still do, but you actually managed to make his hokey costume look menacing. Awesome job!
good stuff man, but clean up your inks! whenever you scan either pencil or ink work, be sure to adjust the Levels and even a little on the Curves in photoshop and you'll have a much more presentable drawing. this this is great, but the murky presentation is a distraction. by way of illustration:
that's 30 seconds of work with virtually no loss in detail.
Capin kicks ass!
Yeah, that is a Cap I wouldn't want to mess with. I like the really fierce gauntlets you gave him. I'd love to see some color thrown onto it.
"Full price for gum? That dog won't hunt Monsignor!"
Sorry, I really like the uncleaned version! This is conceptart, not digitalwebbing, so I think it's more than valid to leave some rendering in the piece.
And I really really like this. Total sense of gravity about him, like Frank Miller always did for Batman. Well for anything, really. Doesn't look like Miller, but gravity and mood are outstanding. Great work!
