I have been posting to CA for some time, but have reached a point where I wanted to start fresh again. I have made some significant improvments since I joined 3-4 years ago, even thought I had long periods of time where I wasn't posting or drawing for that matter. I thought that this would be a good opportunity to set a milestone, and move forward from here with a clean slate.
My goal is the same as always though, which is of course to improve I want to see more as an artist, and apply that vision accurately to an empty canvas. So, please feel free to criticize my work as much as you want. That feedback will be really useful and helpful.
By the way, below are the last six images from my old sketch book. These encompass a good turning point in the quality of my art. They are not perfect, so if you have any pointers, please do not hesitate to give feedback.
Did this one at work today during my break. (45-60min) I used an HB, 2B, and 3B on multi-use paper, so, it might have looked nicer if I had used bristol or something else. Oh well... I sorta got busy while doing her hair, which is why it looks wierd, and I didn't finish rendering her clothes, but I am happy with her face. Let me know what you think.
the last one is realllly nice! Keep going!
I am going to be amazing! .
yo I'm back a little better after reading & studying with no way to scan. Seem you got way better then the last time I posted & these are half a year from now. thanks for the advice to a rookie like me.
Here is a sketch I did today...
I'm going to try to start posting again. Trying to get better, and criticism good or bad is welcome.
