Time to go to work
so a speedy study and some scribbles.
So the first four swordsmen are from my mind,
then a bunch of comic books quick poses,
followed by The Walking Dead (tv show) poses + The Last samurai
not to in depth yet hard pressed for time as always,
The river walker uses its affliction of the red mushroom fungal infection
Not only for increased size to scare away predators but to attract prey,
it also fishes, with the help of the toxin excreted
from the fungus. In turn providing the fungus with nutrients from surrounding areas
helping the fungi to breed and grow unchecked.
around 6 hours work, with me being in university again i had to
resort to photo manipulation in this one. Had fun and enjoyed being
part of this challenge.
No time available to finish the bat mobile, time to go into the night and work as you all slumber . . . .
The last few bunch looks pretty good, you keep improving. The woman in profile view needs a lil bit bigger cranium and smaller eye if you go for realism but it's impressive and your figures are getting better too. If I wouldn't see your stuff multiple times a week just come back after several weeks, I would be surprised I'm sure. But you probably see that and don't need such words. Whatever, I can't help it
It would be a value study if you used values, not lines. Big hard brushes are your friend in this case if you ask me.
I don't consider myself any type of professional, but I see a huge improvement since your first page, good work. Your lines are a lot less scratchy
I agree with Shinin but with that being said You're improving alot xx
So as i travel on the train i draw in my sketchbook,
thought i'd do a few speedy paint overs of a few recent sketches.
Super rushed n super fun.
trying the basics. . . . .
loving the randomness and freedom of creation
lets see what tomorrow will bring. . . . .
It's a 3 dimensional Rorschah test! I see a creature head and/or a fetal figure in an armchair!
Nice things going on here! I like the fantasy images, lots of creativity.
Good work on those body sketches, you’re improving. Those Burne Hogarth studies are nice. Thanks for the tip, I need to work on my skills.
Keep up the good work!
Thank you for visiting my sketchbook, really enjoying your figure studies. That dirt road landscape piece is also great.
You have wonderful enthusiasm and energy.
This is so cool, how'd you do this?
Vulgar`: its done with zbrush, its like sculpting for real, i was just goofing around with it trying to make an alien face, just started with a cylinder shape and just played with brushes really.
there is a free version of a stripped down version of the program called Sculptris.
heads from my soggy mind the rest referenced,
did way more but i think i'll start holding back and only post
better works maybe become more secretive LOL ?????
Warm up from imagination not to intense
and then some photo studies and Hogarth studies
not my best of days moving on to some photo shop work.
will post my master study later in the week
Your sketches are just beautiful, very nice stuff.
Good tempo in your studies here, loads of figures and I see you're doing some box exercises.
It's something I really felt made things click for me with the form, to start re-drawing the figures with boxes.
Great job on this weeks IDW, very clear concept and a sweet idea.
