I have to LIBERATE myself first. I'm a 28years+ old software analyst who feel in love with her (concept art) about 9 months ago and recently started drawing. I am so overwhelmed with the amount of work required to be a great concept art its crazy but nothings come easy.
I like character design (humans/robots), environments and aircrafts. And I have not even got to the digital side of painting yet. I prefer to start with the traditional medium first.
From everything I have learned and come across to date I have broken my short/long term goals into:
1. Fundamentals - Anatomy Studies (current stage)
2. Perspectives (current stage)
3.5 Digital Painting (wish i was here)
5. .... not sure what happens here...!
These goals are not based on a 12 weekly to 6 months period or anything.. Long term means years and I am looking forward to the process.
In the mean time here's my SKETCHBOOK.
Please offer critique, advice and most of all encouragement.
Thanks for looking.
LETS DO THIS!
