Hello, I've been lurking around this site for a while and have been seriously impressed/intimidated by the standard of work, but also amazed at the transformation of so many artists, and want to take a swing at it.
I'm studying Product Design atm, which only has a periphery emphasis on drafting and sketching, but I decided I really want to have a go at developing into more than an occasional doodler.
So!.. i'll throw up a mix of slightly older, and more recent things, and hopefully keep this thread active.
An oldish sketch - started as a cartoonish eye, and ended up growing a bit too far
A few copies of some tank girl artwork. Started reading it and just couldn't help copying a bit!
Hell yeah man, tank girl is one of favorite comics! Keep up the good work!
A small study of the arm
EDIT* Sorry, still getting the hang of this, its a bit massive

Few sketches from last few pages of the last sketchbook..
A game of 'scribbles'. Finding pictures (in this case only faces) in a bunch of randomly scribbled lines.
Always have difficulty starting a new SB, but this is quite a good exercise to get off the mark - spilling tea and trying to find pictures in the stains.
Your color-coded arm muscle chart is a brilliant study idea.
Everything is better with dinosaurs.
Thanks! It was actually taken from a DeviantArt tutorial/reference pic. I'll try and find it and post it up, as the artist has a few good ones.
Holy crap been a long time! Drawing has take a back seat for a while unfortunately, but I have started again, and just acquired a wacom tablet. Don't know why i didn't listen when people said 'if you struggle with a pencil, it'll only be harder with a tablet'. So! Here is my first ever digital attempt, gotta say i'm finding it really hard!
Please crit crit crit with any advice.
first painting with a bit of soft shading. Feels really clumsy and heavy handed atm!
I really do cringe to put this up!
it and just couldn't help copying a bit!
Start of (hopefully) 100 people. Been inspired by how hard other people are working at their drawing, and feel i need to start pushing a bit!
Advice and crit always welcome
some more. been super busy with uni work, done almost no drawing, but hopefully that'll change soon.
Some drawings of a uni project on prosthetic arms
Been a whiiiiiile, will try and post up some things i've been doing between times, heres a pic i just 'finished'. Ear missing, may revisit tomorrow but a little tired of it now.

Rough sketch, started as a doodle of a monkey, hopefully will follow up soon but will leave it for now.
