The skin looks great, but the hands look even better. Good job.
MeteorCat: Thanks! The subtle changes in tone are killing me. They are waaaaaaay off even now.
JustinBeckett: Thank you! Glad you like them
Haven't really got anything but gonna post just for the sake of posting once a day. Heres some crap!
Same deal. Sorry for the small updates. The rest was pretty much traditional anatyom stuff.
Great updates man!, really liking post #448, those three paintings you last posted are really cool, keep it up, i am enjoying this!

JustinBeckett & Gpozzo: Thank you!
Heres something for the recent eow. Doesn't fit the theme too well at the moment I'm afraid. The perspective of the building doesn't fit either.
JustinBeckett: Thank you! I certainly hope you're right progress wise
more wippy. Just messnig around. Things are starting to slow down so I'm going to try to start just drawing all day long.
Sorry for the small wips. I'll do some more interesting stuff tomorrow. Also really fast one just painting stuff on my table, trying to capture the light. And failing.
Mila & MeteorCat: Thank you! It was fun atleast
stuff. Been doing anatomy stuff but haven't got a scanner. And the suck
EDIT: removed. looks really bad, I gotta fix this.

Mila: Thanks man!
Satu: Thanks! I personally think that by getting colours right you achieve alot of the realism. Theres just tons of different hues in skin so it can get really tough sometimes. I don't care about rendering too much actually, I should work more on it during the actual painting process instead of trying to magically get some texture going on after I got all the values and colours figured out. No idea actually how long I spent on that piece - probably several hours.
I swear I do more stuff than gets posted. x.x; I made myself a 7day/week -schedule which I'm following. Really started grinding through the anatomy stuff too though that won't get posted. So I'm not slacking! Well, I still should do more though. x.x;
stuff. Tons of mistakes on the SP as usual but it was timed and I stopped after a while.

I really love looking at your sketchbook. Sometimes I rather look at your artwork than sharpen my skills, hahaha.

kimozabbi: Thanks! Uh oh, we don't want that - should probably stop updating then!
mehhhehheh. Just seeing the anatomy I've been studying in action. Nothing polished - just enough for me to go through the ideas
great updates, nice portraits and studies, the silhouettes are great as well, i'm amazed at the realism you got on the first one on post #468 and love the second one's similitude to traditional medias, keep it up man!
Every time I try to do full illustrations I feel like I'm 3 and drawing for the first time. ugh.
Heres a fast timed study.
wow amazing sketchbook.. is the quote "What does it mean to be an artist? It's constant, unrelenting, everlasting failure. That's what it is. You have to be really tough to take it." from yourself? wise words..
my Sketchbook plz help me become a better artist !
