I'm a 25y old illustration student from Berlin/Germany and i'm about to finish it in the next months.
I had a sketchbook here already but it makes more sense to start a new one, since I last updated it a couple of years ago
Before wasting too much time talking I throw in a few recent works and a few not so recent ones. A few personal ones and a few job ones.

Seems to be working now, so here we go.
(I know you from the DaF some years ago) REally nice finding you n your works here and of course to see your improvements! It's a joy looking through your pieces you showed so far.
Greetings from the southern part of germany - J.D
thanks a lot!
by the way i'm kinda bored of the daf forums that's why i'm trying to find a new home here. feels like a far more vivid place
greetings from the northern part of germany

chaostheory: big thx. i had a pretty long travel recently and my impressions are very strong still. i guess you can see it in some of the works.
lewiston: i'm glad you found me as well because i found you now

a little landscape painting inspired by a cloudy day in australia
hey you have really some great stuff up here, one can definitely see that you are a very ambitious illustrator who works hard to get better... nice to see that! and you have very interesting scenes and creative settings, i enjoyed looking through all of them. curious to see your further improvement, so keep it up
wow! you have some really cool stuff. Really diging the robo-samurai
"This is a paint and pixel-splattered furnace that forges the swords of artistic mastery. This is a place where swarthy and belligerent dwarves drink turpentine mead, berate their apprentices and slap the trade into their skulls. It's where the anvils are made of graphite, the hammers are as true as rectangular marquee selections and the fires burn with the light of a thousand lensflares." --Jason Rainville
Thanks for your encouragement, means a lot. I decided to stop sucking at art and become better now
Hope this thread helps.
Ah yeah and some pencil stuff for fetsch which u know already I think.

The one with the jungle and the stone doorway in post #2 is my favorite.
Everything is better with dinosaurs.
just a stupid little something i finished last night
hm I like those dragondesigns (maybe they resemble me of my approaches) for their more realisticlooking shapes.. can't look at those overused typical D&D dragons anymore.
oh and jepp, I don't roam the threads of the DAf too for years now.. its too sad cause it was where it all started (for me using paintchat starting to paint with mouse)^^
I really love the first piece and all of the landscape pieces. Reminds me to start incorporating more landscapes because I mostly draw figures.
Twinkle, twinkle little star
I don't wonder what you are
For by spectroscopic ken
I know that you are hydrogen - Ian D.
guys, thanks so much. sry for letting you wait so long. i'm an incredibly lazy son when it comes to painting/drawing after a day full of painting for jobs.
so heres a tiny little thingy i finished this morning. i think the weapon took me 5 years of my lifetime.
Awesome, love the smug look on the space dudes face.
Hey dude, thanks a lot!
A little practicing of my render- and anatomyskills from head
a ping pong collaboration between me and my buddy Dario. we had a fun time painting this little thingy.
not sure if he uses this forum but go check out his blog:
Good shit! I think i'm going to keep an eye on this sketchbook.
Big thx dude!
nice - like it all - & the last three, the first landscapes & then the mountain side and adenture party in 2nd post and the asian sword fighters/demons stood out.
I like your compositions and content and flow/feel as the eye wanders over your creations.
Thanks for posting these ~ & that you do manage to do anything after work says a bit about how lazy I was when I didn't (when I did work)
Looking forward to more.

great use of textures man. Like your paints allot
Thanks a lot you two!
I was such a lazy ass. Well not really. I was doing my bachelor thesis and some jobs beside that, but no energy to do personal stuff. Except that little dragon right here. Got inspiration from Berlin Tierpark today. Such a colorful world we're living in, very inspirational. Note to myself: "Go more crazy with color. Color is your friend!"
