i go to parsons and am an illustration major. In my opinion its the best art school in NY--plus youll get a design sense out of it which is nice--the illustration dept is good--with good faculty but its expensive too.

I have a friend at Parsons who is saying that she is getting an amazing education there, but it's a ton of work. I'm at community college at the moment, so I dont' really have any advice. =]

Hey,

Im going to sva now. What major are you intending to go into? Im a computer art major and im pretty happy with it. Sva is a good school all in all. Sva has some good teachers who are in the field. I was going to have a guy that worked on ice age next year but he went to work on ice age 2 so he isnt teaching next year. It definatly does matter which major your going into. yea sva is kind or run badly and all of the majors are seperated so you dont really meet other people from diff majors often, unless you live in the dorms.
