Heavy Hammer, a new video game development studio in Annapolis Maryland, is hiring for conceptual artist positions. What we are really looking for is a lead artist who can help define the look and feel of the overall game. Creativity and speed are each a must. A non-stylized, realistic style is preferred. Applicants local to the Metropolitan DC area are preferred, but we have worked long-distance many times before and are willing to do so again.
If interested, please send resume and samples to firstname.lastname@example.org
Assistant Creative Director
I'm interested in contributing to your endeavor.
Please see my site for samples:
I look forward to hearing from you.
I was going to apply when you were looking for submissions before. However, I had alot of work come in and missed the submission deadline. You didn't find what you were looking for and are accepting again?
That is correct. We have not yet found a lead artist. We are looking for someone who is creative, fast, skilled, and can produce consistently. We have a very strong weapon designer and environmental artist, but we need a strong character artist. We need someone who can draw both quick sketches and fully rendered production art while remaining consistent and creative throughout the process. The ability to take direction and run with it is key. We rely heavily on our concept artists to define the look and feel of the game.
If you feel you have the skills we are looking for, we would love to hear from you.
Dear Mr. Minkoff, if you would be so kind, please check out my online portfolios:
My personal website has a listing of my credits and additional contact information.
Thank you, Bradley K. McDevitt
I would love for you to check out my work, my style at www.fluffalo.com.
If you like what you see I am open to working long distance.
Sent an email listing my qualifications and sample links, thought I'd give you a heads up here, too.
The links in the email are private and I need to email them to you, since they contain "editorial samples" that I cannot post publicly.
Thanks for the chance to show my stuff.
