Teen Challenge 102: Big, Bad Monster
This weeks topic is Big, Bad Monster. Use your imagination, everything goes as long as it's big, and bad and a monster.
So no kind-looking unicorns or anything (though giant, evil, spiky demon unicorns are perfectly fine!).
Introducing focus! Focus is a new addition to the Teen Challenges to... well, challenge you a bit more!
Although, for the moment, the focus is optional it is still highly recommended to be included!
This weeks focus is atmosphere. We not only wants your big baddie to look evil, we want it to feel evil!
We want a dark and gritty piece that'll scare children (that means you guys) out of their hides!
(We'd love feedback on this addition so please share your thoughts in the TC Suggestions and Discussion-thread, thank you!)
We're back to one week challenges now, so the deadline is Sunday 9th of January, 23:59 GMT
You've got a week from now, so what are you waiting for?!
love the the idea to make the monster as scary as possible,
makes you really think about what you define as scary,
heres my first WIP

Lemmingwing: Dude the inks are awesome, I wish you did the background leg instead of filling it in with a silhouette though.
Late start again! I'm usually busy during the week because of school
original thumb done in class haha:
Working straight into color this time..
EDIT: I don't see finals thread yet and I'll be gone for a bit...
EDIT #2: Oh it's on sunday.

Well, you should. 'cause I'm handing out prizes like crazy! Last TC I gave out 2 "Color and the Theory of Light" streaming classes. So who knows what I'm giving next.
Just inquired again about it and got a reply after three minutes from his phone, so it's all sorted out.
I'm sending out the information now.
behold, the squidcat.
about two lensflares short of a masterpiece.
they're actually pretty easy to build if you have any spare symbiotes
wip's to go with my final:
"A drawing is not necessarily academic because it is thorough, but only because it is dead. Neither is a drawing necessarily academic because it is done in what is called a conventional style, any more than it is good because it is done in an unconventional style. The test is whether it has life and conveys genuine feeling."- Harold Speed
Yay for tradition big baddie. Big final goes into finals page. :3
EDIT: @ike_ike: It's so cute. WHY IS IT SO CUTE? I want a giant plushie thing of it now. Also, what brushes are you using? How do you get such nice, sharp edges?
