Can I please ask for your critiques on the painting and background? This image was painted using corel painter 11 it is not a smudge painting. Is the background too busy? Is there more I can do what do you think? I don't mind what ever critiques be as bad as you want.
Any reply would be much appreciated.
Please post the image as an attachment so we can see it in the thread. It's oh so much more convenient
like he said attachment!

Are you using the smudge tool?

Ok everyone I post the image again as suggested.
It's quite wonderful. The denim bothers me a little bit though. I swear I'm seeing smudge tool in some places. Just to clarify, are you saying you didn't use the smudge tool at all, or that you didn't start with a photo and just smudge it? Not that it's a big deal. I just think if you did use the tool, it didn't help. Still a really nice piece though!
