Hi CA.org long time stalker first time poster
rushed a little bit while blocking out and skipped deciding on a pose and position for the minion, so now I'm stuck. I cant seem to find a pose that looks comfortable and looks good.
Could use some advice and crits
The pose of the woman looks very static, almost as if she's not even aware that the massive creature is standing at her feet. To create a better pose for the both of them, think of someone holding a very big dog on a leash. Think how the dog leans forward when there's no more slack on the leash, and how the person centers them self out, spreads their feet, and supports the weight of the dog wth their back.

I think the pose is fine. It emphasizes her control and that she has tamed the beast. However I do think you should remove the eyebrows on her, and find a more subtle way to give her a lion face, as opposed to the Wizard of Oz approach of sagging cheeks. Another thing I'd consider is positioning her arm so that it doesn't look extremely short.
