Really excited about being here. I received a book on drawing life figures and moving onto cartoon/manga style images using the anatomy figures in the book. Really have a lot to learn and that's why I'm here.
Used to lurk a little on DevianTart, could never bring myself low enough to make an account however. I'm here for genuine critique, improvement through learning from mistakes and practice with patience. Just scrolling through artwork here, I see people have accomplished amazing things, would like to imagine that could one day be myself, rather than blind "idiot" praise offered on DA.
Brought here by a most unlikely corner. Does anyone remember the travesty that was chasethehedgehog? That eventually directed me to this website, where it was a perfect guide on how not to do it.
Looking forward to getting to know you folks at CA! A bit tough on resources at the moment, so no way to actually show you the current efforts of mine. As soon as I can, I will!
PS: Apologies for my English, it's mostly learnt from playing video games and watching re-runs of the Jeremy Kyle Show.
