I recently got a new laptop and managed to get a copy of Zbrush 3.5. I used it for a little while then got distracted by other things.
My problem is that when I tried to use it last night, there is always a sphere or something in the workspace. And nothing I do seems to be able to give me a blank space to work in. I remember having this problem before, but now I can't remember how the hell I fixed it the first time.
Also, I kind of know the basics of how to use zbrush (zspheres, polymeshes, masks...etc...), but I'm wondering what the best resource would be for a beginner. I google search turned up like 50 websites, but are there any that would be recommended above the rest?
if you are trying to bring something in to sculpt on, when you import it the circle will go away, or if you want to use zspheres once you click the zsphere on the side it will get rid of the circle. also, i think if you open a new document it will give you a blank starting area.
What Katwood said plus, if you press T (to exit edit mode) and then Ctrl+N, it will clear the canvas.
