The rocks and snow in that last environment are sexy.
Walnut I'm not really sweating about it. But it's just something I can't shake, every time I approach a piece of work, I have this sort of 'uncertainty' about it where I don't know what I should be doing (in several ways). I'm getting better though, I'm just trying to follow my gut reaction and do what I want. Thanks for the kind words as always.
Adam Something I have very much been thinking about lately. I need to find something exciting to do it off ( I get the feeling it will be cyberpunk :3). Thanks.
htkpeh Thank you kind sir/sirette.
Dile Cheers bro, you too! Kicking ass lately.
Bogan Thank you!
GnollyGnoll Yeah, like I said, I'm just trying to follow my gut more. Do stuff that makes me happy. I get the feeling that being excited and happy will lead to me being more creative.
Finish up that robot.
Also, I haven't done it for a while. Its not an in depth analysis, or a moan. But Some reccomendations:
Fucking awesome ICO fanart my friend sent me. Hot Shit.
Also that blog is really great, it appears to be like 3-4 russian artists that make some really damn good work. Some more. Seriously good stuff.
Also that friend, is Marcel O'Leary. He's da bomb, he makes comics. http://marceloleary.blogspot.com/

My poopy poop:
Nice poop thar!
kick-ass stuff, especially your drawings.
I couldn't agree more. That last painting is stunning. Way to get the most of out each brush stroke, with that one. In regard to your statement about moving forward in your art, I think that piece is a great balance of spontaneous creative energy, and solid design sensibilities. Great stuff.
Wow love that droid, not sure if his left side is matching up with the right but those are some tough shapes to deal with. I really love that last enviro

Kidult Great for a poop, but not very good for art. I gotta go faster and better!
Obier, saarmander, Sipher Thanks guys, really appreciate all the compliments !
Nickodemus That was the plan, it fails in a few areas, but i was experimenting with actual process more. So i suppose it was a success in that regards. Glad you like it, thanks.
Sebastian Sorry if your impatient, you came at the wrong time, so busy with freelance shit, But i got something for ya now!
GEB All the regrets and consequences of just puking out a design and just rolling with it. The core picture has so many errors! Arrrghh! Thanks!
jsn I'm glad you learned something, that really means a lot. If I am ever able to pass on my knowledge it makes me very happy! Glad you enjoyed my shit. Thanks very much.

Ahhh now my poop; cus I've been busy. But luckily, I can now show something. Only a tid bit of what I've been doing. But bear in mind, some things will never be shown, NEVER!!
But basically, these are some vehicle design/illu commisions based around steam punk-y ideas. So the pics and then some sketch shit for you, did sketches then built some very basic Sketchup3D models to work from:

MY DAILY SKETCHES
If you can read this, I gave you 5 stars
Because I am a horrible person, who doesn't update enough. Heres something I popped out the other day. I wasn't going to post it, but who cares.
1 hour speedpaint sort of thing. Was just mind-paint-poopin'.
Theres a theme in my work these days too. Towers, snow, mountains, ancient shit. Fuckin love it.
Happy Christmas everyone.
Marian, Lenzer, Pie and DarkEyes - Thanks guys, thank you very much indeed. Happy holidays.
Hey guys!! Thanks for all the love. Hope everyone had an awesome christmas and new year. Marian, Sour and Merlin, thanks a lot!
Hopefully this is a sign of things to come. Apparently this went up on the internet and I didn't notice. So heres a time-lapse of a recent painting I did for a independant game I'm working on. Hopefully I'll be able to post some more stuff since some of other paintings have gone up too.
Edit - its not showing up, let me fix this. For the time being: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yca8P...eature=related
Annnd here they are. 4 character portraits.
Hopefully I'll be able to post up more stuff, especially the developmental work. The game should be going beta/releasing some time later this year, but I'm sure I'll have more to post from it. Let me know what you guys think.

Really great sketchbook here. I've looked through some of your older posts, and it's incredible how much you've improved over time (although your older stuff still looks great to me). I'm really loving the speed painting you put up a few posts back--the one with the tower. It seems like such a complete piece for the small amount of time you worked on it--really jealous of your ability there. I suppose that kind of speed just comes with practice.
Anyway, great sketchbook, and I'm looking forward to seeing more!
love the time lapse painting Andy - looks like you've really landed on your feet after graduating, so kudos on that one man.
the bot at the top of the page looks especially good too - nice one
Fantastic work, man, great development. Really digging the environments!
