Thanks guys! Doodles, sketches, studies and experiments in various media:
Elwell: what an honour
Fetsch: Thank you!
GEB: Thanks, yeah that was one of the ideas, the band borrowed that look at one stage
Teundeboer: Thanks, yeah nice word for it
Marian Rowling: Not one now? thanks :3
Vatsel: thanks, but it's too entertaining sometimes not to
Call0ps: cheers bra, one day I intend to create the ultimate unconcept
Jakers: Thank you, well I'd been meaning to do something of that vein for a long time, it had been stewing
KittyKaida: thank you, though I dread to look back on those now, muddy and no colour harmony anywhere!
Lyno: thank you
sleep: thanks dude, I was strangely just checking out that very book when I read your post. Definitely gave me some food for thought, still finding my footing with a balance of accuracy + gesture when drawing figures from life
Philosiflo: woo thanks
HAJiME: just lots of tedious edge control, using a gradient brush helped a whole lot. thanks!
Tuesday: thank you!
Kungfoowiz: thanks they took me ages but good for my accuracy
Ikage: thank you

..I hate to sound like a kiss-ass, but I really adore the colours in the sky and clouds in that first enviro-sketch.
only 20 year old and already so steadily moving forward. I wish I had your dedication in same age

not much today, velazquez/sargent studies:
Featheredface: Thanks, though they're mostly photo studies so I must credit the colour to them
Marian Rowling: haha, I just meant listening to their old stuff now, I think I prefered they're 80's look to them now
SamC: definitely man, sounds good! you two rock
Aryeh: thanks man, been working hard at it
griffinfly: thank you, such a fan of your stuff
Zeitwolf: yeah it's really about edge control, the colours you can be really liberal with as long as the forms are convincing.
+dave: thank you!
kischi: thank you, I love painting them!
Call0ps: cheers dude, yeah they're way too innacurate still to bypass drawing yet
emperor_boy: thank you
flurry: cheers, that is a good crit and something i've noticed in other old drawings too, i will keep it in mind.
Koto: thanks! was nice meeting you man
Angel Intheuk: thanks, though those were only photostudies, I have a serious backlog of original stuff to do with all this reference grinding building up
quick reply for answering
Aryeh: it's a similar site but with way more stuff, currently being worked on so some of the categories don't have images sorted (he says it's almost fixed):
