Description of job
I'm looking for someone to make 5-6 pieces for my current project. I am heading up the development of an indie tabletop miniatures wargame set in a post-apocalyptic setting with elements both of high fantasy and scifi, and am looking for some pieces to give the feel of the world. Off the top of my head one example would be a weary, scarred hobbit with a crude bionic arm sitting on the tail of a scrapped truck and smoking.
Currently I'm only looking at 1 or 2 full page pieces, and 3 or 4 half pages to accompany text. The style I would like to go for is black and white or greyscale, in pencil. I want to find an artist that is able to convey a very real, down to earth feeling even with fantastic elements that ties them together into a plausible, gritty whole. As if you were a war artist actually following our people around and capturing them at their best and worst.
Your work would be your own for purposes of self promotion/portfolio, if we use your work beyond the current stage of development (i.e. the actual published work) then we will contact you and work out a fair deal before the work is used. I am offering $50 per half page drawing, and $75 for a full page, but am willing to engage in reasonable negotiations.
I can be reached at Ericerichards@gmail.com for more information
