Hi, I'm Adam from Birmingham, England and I have a HUGE passion for art. I discovered this site from a friend and I joined just today to get to see the features of this site, looks wonderful.
I'm hoping to see lots of inspirational works from talented artists here, aswell as trying to improve my own work. Maybe to gain some very helpful criticism and new hints and tips on the way.
Hi I'm Tobey.
A nineteen year old pupil from Germany.
Four or Five years ago I started to work with Photoshop. Just making some Banners, Avatars an all that things for me and friends. Later manipulating my photos and til now I gathered a lot of experience with PS. That's why it makes me sad, that I can't afford a GraphicTablet
I have a huge passion for art as well as most of all members here.
Found this site one or two years ago and was lurking from there on in different sketchbooks
Now I had the courage to sign up here with strong will to improve my skills.
So I wish to get some constructive criticism and maybe some tips and hints, too.
Ive been drawing for about 5 months now on a regular basis, changing my major from biomedical engineering to fine art.
Hope to put some decent stuff soon.
hello i'm new here and i joined conceptart.org a time ago but i never posted something because there are so musch talented people on this forum.
Something about me:
My name is melissa brouwer i'm 18 years old and live in the netherlands, i love to draw and to photoshop, one day i want to become a concept artist (just like so many people )
and i'm really working hard to let that dream come true,
i hope to find good feedbakc on how i can improve my artworks, and hope to find much inspiration.
My name is Justin, I'm 21 years old graphic designer living in Savannah, GA. I just recently became interested in drawing through my art history studies in college. I don't have a background in traditional art, but I decided to minor in illustration to challenge myself to learn something that I've always wanted to do.
I'm having a lot of fun teaching myself classical drawing, and I hope to learn a lot from all of the amazing artists lurking around here.
hiya all; I'm new to the CA. just posted a couple of things. I'm hoping to learn from the group and get a lot of inspiration from all the talent here.
My name is Lisa. I am 19 years old and am currently attending University of Illinois at Springfield. I am majoring in Communications with a political science minor in the hopes of becoming a lawyer. I am also trying to double major in Visual Art, but it is quite hard at this school.
Obviously being new, this site is pretty confusing, but i hope to understand it better soon. I came here in hopes to meet other artists, and also to get comments and suggestions on my work . I mainly use pencils and mostly draw portraits, but i also love photography, painting, scratch board and anything else i can get my hands on lol. nice to meet you all.
I've just registered... I'm Vk, pretty new on this, I'll be around learning more things...
I'm Alyssa, a 24 year old college graduate that lives in NYC, US. Sadly, I am currently unemployed, but occasionally freelance on the side which relates to my career: Graphic and website design.
In my sudden shift to be more artistic, understand more of the basics, and envelope myself in a new passion, I decided to seek a more actual artistic outlet - even if its for my own kicks. I don't have much, if any at all, traditional training, but I do dabble in digital forms (trying to learn the basics through that), and sometimes do a few 3D work.
Advertising, which is so common in this city, just isn't for me. So, I'm hoping that one day, I can live my dream of being a concept artist for a game or entertainment company. Until then, I'll keep learning and pouring out the designs. Happy to be here, love this community so far, and looking forward to meeting you all
Hello, my name is DJ. I just recently joined, but have been viewing this website for close to a year and a half.
I was "drawn" to the site by the artwork of one of the artists here named Andrew Ley. I saw his work posted in another forum I frequented. I clicked through to the CA site here and it opened me up to a whole new level of art I hadn't really been privy too before.
I'm a graphic artist by trade, but I also love to create imagery, opposed to merely manipulating it.
I've recently decided to get serious about my artwork. I've purchased a Wacom Bamboo and have begun experimenting with digital painting. The CA site here and all the wonderful artists have really inspired me.
I hope to be posting my work here soon so I can get some feedback on what I'm doing right and what I can do better.
Thank you for this site. As I said it really is inspiring.
Hello folks. Been a lurker around this place for awhile but just now getting the guts to join since I can't seem to find much help in other locations. Came across it by random while browsing around DA. I'm just here to for assistance in getting my work out of this pretty much "stale/stagnant" era that it's been in for a few years now.
21, Ohio, Junior at Columbus College of Art & Design (now seeming like a huge waste of money after 3+ years...) and Animation then Illustration major with minor in Writing.
Just want to push my work to a quality that actually gets close to my expectation rather than sitting at the bottom of the barrel as it has.
Ahhh right, hi guys, I'm Josh, I'm 18. I'm from England, and I've recently finish college. I joined a while ago but haven't had time to do anything, and it is slightly intimidating seeing all your amazing art! I took graphic design at college, which was more geared towards advertising than art. So I'll make my excuses now, aha I have no real training in illustration apart from what I've taught myself, I was an A student in art at school, I took graphics because I knew it would be be the best option job wise. But then I discovered concept art and fell in love!
I need all the advice you can give me, please, seriously, ALL the advice. I will eventually get some art up, so you can all have a good laugh!
What's up everyone,
My name is Carlos and I am a 19 year old college student from the United States. Just came to the forum to get advice and critique on all the work I will be posting up. I don't really think I'm that good.. I am nowhere near as talented as the featured artists and many others on the forums, but hopefully one day I will get to that level .
I hope to have a great time on this site.
Hello ladies and gentlemen,
Just wanna say hi to everyone... and say thanks in advance for all those who'll be lending me hand in the future.
Hello to you all! I am Shane from Jamaica, and I have always liked art but not until a year ago I began taking it more seriously. I love this site, and some really great Artists are here. I have put up a sketchbook here Shane L'André's Sketchbook and I even decided to do a blog @ http://www.pencilmelody.com. I welcome your advice, tips and so on. I look forward to a great time here!
Hey everybody, my name is Arturo and i'm from Venezuela. This looks like a friendly site were I could post my artwork and get some advice (as soon I decipher how to upload it). Anyway, what I have seen in this page looks awesome and I hope to get that good on drawing.
Estas entrando en un momento que el foro esta un poco melo-dramatico! jajaja
Asi que porahi vas a leer mucho drama dando vueltas!

Hello conceptart members!
I really love this forum, in here is so much stuff of wich I could say "wooow. awesome. crazy. I want to draw, now!"
First of all I need to say I did some Logos, Artworks etc. for my bands. I play guitar in a band but we're today in the start-up phase.
Sometimes I tried to do some merchandise-designs and some other things for musicians.
But what i want is getting better and better in drawing and painting.
I think in the next few days I am going to scan some of my works to show them to you.
Best wishes and merry xmas next week!
Like everyone else in this thread I'm a new member and just wanted to give a quick hello and thanks to the people behind the site as I've been finding a lot of the resources really helpful.
I've put up some of my artwork as well for you guys to view and comment on which you can find under my albums section http://www.conceptart.org/forums/member.php?u=181409 (not sure if that link will work but fingers crossed) and as I'm looking to drastically improve my photoshop skills could anyone advise me on a good tutorial for beginner - intermediate.
I am Jamie de Rooij from the Netherlands. I am 17 years old, and I love to draw/design stuff. When something went wrong with me I decided to turn back to the pencils and I love it. Painting gives me the rest I need. I 've joint this forum to learn things!
Currently, Stay Alive is on USA on the Eastern Cost of U.S.A--not that that has anything to do with this comment. I'm new here, as you can tell, and slightly intimidated. New people usually are? I'm sure it'll pass.
I never introduced myself when I joined. I don't think this sub-forum was up by that time.
Anyway, hello! My name is Conny and I go by Loathsome and ConnyCartoon.
I'm a concept artist (surprisingly) and I'm here to post my work and improve and all that. I've heard about this place for a while but never joined because I was scared that people would kick my ass But I'm loving it here.
You can find all my stuff in my signature.
My name is Adam (mahasiddha on DA), and I'm a comic book artist and schoolteacher. Pretty psyched to be here; I've been blown away by the work I've seen just browsing the forums.
