reallynice stuff, love how you did the painting
Dile_: Thanks Dile, these are allot better then that apple i posted on facebook.
Glaedr: Thats the goal, Thanks
Ok, so i have to make some changes temporarily for the paintings, Since im going to SCAD day on October 10th, i need to set up a small portfolio for there portfolio review, so im going to complete as many digital paintings as i can before that time. I'm still going to focus on the self portraits which by the way take a long time!
I must say though, all those self portraits which dont look to difficult to do on here, take a long time, like 3 and a half hours. However im learning SO much from them so the trade off is fine by me!
Here is how im living:
Wake up 6am
Drive to school 6:30
come home at 4:00
Have dinner until 4:30
Do self 25 portraits 4:30-8
Paint digital picture 8-10:30
Surf the web or something 10:30-11:00
Post my work: 11:00+
Basically wake up, go to school, come back from school, draw and paint nonstop, then i sleep..
Also edit: my face hurts after i make all those poses again and again :p

Dude..... we need to have an msn chat
Nice stuff so far. Make sure you put in little reward breaks after you finish the 25 portraits. Maybe sketching from imagination?
Yeah you defiantly wanna do some imagination stuff to apply all the studies you've done.
Keep at it!
Very good paintings, I really like them.
Great idea; this will be neat to follow. Your paintings are already very good.
One small suggestion; especially when drawing portraits from life, I've found it very helpful to work slightly larger than usual; it's hard to get the correct shapes and angles on a very small drawing, so you get better accuracy at larger sizes. Of course, larger drawings can take longer.
I have an anatomy test tomorrow that im really worried about, so i had to cut down on the drawings. I still did 25 faces but a few are half faces. Basically i focused on one of my weakest points on the face, the eye opposite of the nose at an angle. I feel i may need to do more studies with it, but this practice defiantly helped. My rendered face looks so stupid btw lol.. Also i really appreciate the feedback!
--Im not sure if im going to do 100 days of self portraits, with regards to faces alone, it may be a little redundant after MAYBE the 25th day or less depending on how things go.. so when i feel ready to move on i most likely will, it will probably be chest studies.. So if your lucky you will get to see my amazing abs.. or perhaps, if nobody reads this in 20+/- days when i put them up ill just put someone else's face on my body and nobody will know, wooo.
lilnebo: Hey thanks! I sent you a pm with my msn, not sure if you got it or not.. Also im not sure how the imagination thing would help too much, however i did do some semi-imaginative studies in my latest study.
Jcphal: Thanks, however i think im going to keep my pictures small, i may have to work smaller but i still get the point across, as in i still learn about the form of the face. Thanks though for the input
Towy: Thanks! : >

Woah. This is a great exercise. Never thought of doing that.
I think I will. Thanks for the inspiration
hmm, i think i should move on from the line portraits and start making rendered self portraits which will take more time.. that will also mean will be doing less. I dont know, if anyone is reading this should i do a few rendered self portraits or do some head and body line self portraits. Perhaps you have a different suggestion?
either way here is todays studies..
Edit: also i think i have learned as much as i can with these lines ports i need to move on to bigger and better things.
cool steellife study.
