Thanks man! I am glad i could be of help. It works for me the same, when i feel down i look at other peoples work and want to paint again...
Hallo Rolo, freut mich! Danke! Please visit again
Thanks, Yep the perspective is off, it is a complete front view.
I guess everyone likes the nude girls, even the nude girls like em.
Thank you! I dont know so much about Franzetta ( but he is super great), have no images of him on my pc but i think the reason it reminds you of his work is because i tried to use some old school color settings. You can see similar colors a lot in older paintings.
The Neck looks funny for sure, not only that, there is lots of weird shit in almost every sketch i make, but fixing every mistake would make those no longer a scribble or speed painting
Once i nail what i want to show i just save and do the next one...
Thanks! Drop by often!
Spasibo! Hope to see you again here! cheers
Thank you! I try to mix in some story pics, a bit contrast to the more popular boobies.

ok, what am i going to paint today> humm humm
You guys can also make requests, i can not follow each request for sure but can do what the majority wants to see sometimes.
Yes, i know.... boobies and ass pics, but those i do already anyway.
Request! Omg omg! yes please
Do a Rikku (Final Fantasy X-2) piece pleeease. It's been a while since I have seen some good fan art. I'll send you a bag with boobies if you do so! xD Anyway, everything else would be fine. Everything you paint is great no matter what it is
Oh and thanks for the last two posts. The girl reminded me a bit of Mucha. The way you handled her that is. And the progress is pure gold. It gives us all a quick preview of your work progress. That's priceless.

Haha yeah man--I don't think it's neccessary to fix mistake on speed paintings either.
When you say color settings are you talking about color themes/harmonies?
Ok, i tried... i am not much of a fanart guy, i hope i got t right...
All the same, i dont fix all that much in this scribbles.
I am mean the color palette, the choice of colors and the way i blend the.
You can affect an image a lot by that alone, can mae it look vintage, or whatever.

lol, its ok, its not like i didnt enjoy it, it just reminds me of work somehow. i prefere doing new things.
you owe me a bag of boobs now, whatever that is
On an other note, you're speed paints have great quality. I'd like to see more of them. But I already got what I wanted, so let the others go first please ^_^
And again, sorry
Robots and cybors are always fun, some landscapes will also do good here i think.
@ Studio Colrouphobia
I will try
Its all cool! Don't worry and really no need to apologize for anything!
I painted it coz i thought it would be funny.
Thanks! I will do more moonscapes soon for sure!

After the quick Robot scribble i was thinking and had some new idea.
I started a painting and will make live updates for this one.
Here is the progress i have so far.
After every couple of steps i will upload more WIP today, till we have a final image.
So, keep in touch and stay tuned.
Omg... *feints* - Hmm i would love to see some action/matrix style shots/designs. I think they look spectacular, you have some serious talents. BUT I would love to see more, i don't know why. But you can so push it more.. i know you can.
p.s I dig the mecha drawings...
how fast are you?, light is nothing against,
good works , Mr Randis!
That last one is fantastic! Do you just outline the body? Or do you do some basic loomis kind of outlining to get the proportions right when you do bodies/figures?
when doing portraits or simple paintings i paint directly on the canvas using the darkest mid tones.
But having many curves and details i first make a rough scribble, that help nailing the proportions in early stage and i still can play with the layout by moving around the scribble, rotating and cropping it.
What is loomis kind of outlining means? i am not familiar with this term
LOOVE the amano tribute piece man. and really appreciate seeing all your wips. ill be checkin back!

AT this res the changes are harder to see, but the image is getting finer alreadu, i am working out the shapes, corners, adding details, reshaping elements. the orange light is just a quick test.
The look for the final image still will change a lot
will post more WIP steps today as i make progress with the image.
Wow Randis. You're too fast. You put me to shame with your speed. I struggle for hours on a simple piece. You just pop out and almost finish a better painting in like an hour.
But reading what you say helps me to learn, so I guess its allllll goooooood!
Rockin' stuff, I've got a neat request if you're still taking them... c:
A gelatinous monster with exposed inner nervous system, may or may not have acidic touch. Maybe make it big enough to take on Gamera, or tiny enough to sneak in through your drain, its up to you! I think it would be a fun challenge to render a goo monster.
Thanks a lot for the nice words!
Speed is not everything tho, its not like you are in a hurry... as long as you can deliver on time.
Tho if you make a living with that: time = money
If you do it long enough you get the routine, that goes for everyone.
That sounds like a very neat idea for a creature.
I am up for request but not too specific ideas coz that is almost like doing a job.
I would rather like to explore the design and ideas myself. With sugestions i meant something more global/general, like> we want more landscapes or more robots, bigger boobies, more monster, spacecrafts, something very cartoony or funny pics...
i think you should make that monster you described, that would be a good practice!

A quick note for those who care.
Instead of doing sketches when i am searching for idea, i do it in a tad different way. I simply take a paper and start writing down my ideas.
As short as possible, more like headlines:
- Frog eats car
- Kid controls his father using brainwaves
- digging up a UFO in your backyard by accident
- monkeys on LSD
and so on...
then having a list of ideas you can pick the one you like best and start drawing, having a mental image of the result.
thank god i went through here and downloaded every single image of his i could before i deleted the thread(as he asked me too).
hah, i would have been getting some angry emails.
glad to see you stay randis, as i said you are one of my favorite artists on the site.
thanks for the mammaries , and lets make many more!
Must say I've enjoyed going through your SB. Do you do guys in the same way as girls?
Walks away, whistling, trying to look innocent.
@ Black Spot
"Do you do guys in the same way as girls? "
ummm.. no, i dont do guys at all
kidding. i guess you asked about the painting progress?
i do every thing the same way, guys, girls, animals, objects, robots, you name it
