I'm approaching the finishing stages of this (I think), so I thought I would see what you wonderful people had to say before I start the final cleanup. It's part of a concept character sheet, and is intended to have a slightly comic / caricaturish feel, without going the whole nine yards either way.
My primary concern is the portrait. The rest is just a sketch. This is my first submission here, but please don't let that hold you back. Tear it up. I like the pain.
Thanks in advance.
I actually really enjoy the portrait. the only thing I can think of to nit pick at is that the lines are very soft and smudgy, a few hard lines would balance it out more. and the shading in his hair area doesn't quite flow right, I think it makes his head look flatter than it should.

Hi Moosepaws. You're spot on. You know, the hard and soft contrast in brushes is something I often notice when I do crits, and here I am falling into the same trap myself! Thanks for bringing it to my attention.
