some sf images

Hi there,
I haven't posted any image here for a long time. I must admit that it's because I'm always afraid to visit this forum. I'm usually depressed after seeing so much incredible work (for example now, heh), but from time to time I have to face the truth and professional critique.
So sorry for showing some old images that you might see earlier somewhere else. It's not because of the lack of respect.
greetings

There are others that share your fear and often leave feeling depressed after seeing so much brilliant art, and for me your work is up there with those that cause both. Awesome stuff, chin up!

Well, I've been to San Francisco (SF), and I have to say I don't recognize any of these places you drew, but they are very, very nice! Excellent work.

I like the one with the wind turbines... Earth, 2200 A.D..

They're all really good.

I love your first pic, there is some round quality to the tanks that reminds me of the cuteness of Tachikomas from a series called Ghost in the Shell.

Amazing art! I cannot see why you would feel that your work is not up there with the best of them. Keep it up!

Thanks for appreciation.
I guess self-criticism works in both directions. It can paralyse or give a kick for harder work.
midknight523: the second image (steampunk) was painted for CGChallenge. It took about 100 hours from the idea to the final stage.
TASmith: You haven't been there in the alternative future

You have a very good touch with metal surfaces, especially in the top pic.
