I'm in my 1st year of art school, i though it would've been great to have some external feedbacks on my little animations, 'cause i've never attend animation lessons, classes or sthg like that...
Sooo here we go:
This one relate my first childhood memory, i hope you can understand in the end what is it all about.. Done with pictures i took + photoshop
Souvenir d'enfance from Notyour business on Vimeo.
This one was done in acrylics
Hommages ą trace from Notyour business on Vimeo.
This one is acrylic then oil painting, it's a mastercopy of Sargent's painting "Rosina" that I animated
Rosina - mastercopy of Sargent from Bruno G. on Vimeo.
An other work after Sargent Rosina, done in Photoshop over a picture of the original i found on the Internet. So many things i should correct on this one particulary :'( but no time...
Rosina dancing, after Sargent from Notyour business on Vimeo.
The last one i did, a WIP. A self portrait wich will turn into a best-friends of mine portraits included in my selfportrait.. well i'll show you as soon as i paint. It's oil painting
evolutive self portrait from Notyour business on Vimeo.
This last one is completly different, it is a video "montage" (? english?), i just put 2 videos together using some after effect tools, it's supposed to relate the story of the birth of a star according to a short story i'm writing:
Star birth from Notyour business on Vimeo.
What do you think about them ? I can hardly look at them after all this time painting, i see mistakes everywhere ..

very cool stuff! i really did like the first one, you captured a litle grasshopper and let it go? or killed him and he jumped into the white light maby hehe..
but yeah it was a nice litle film, short, sweet and personal... loved it.
the Hommages ą trace was also very nice, nice light indeed!
the transition between candle and dancer also work well.
Rosina - mastercopy of Sargent - looked a litle stiff and strange,
i understand the amount of work but maby more frames would make it better.
also some movement on the body would ad to the realism
Rosina dancing, after Sargent - lovely i think!
evolutive self portrait - its nice.
Star birth - fun to look at, cool = )
my favourite of these are without any doubt Souvenir d'enfance beautiful
when you make some more animations dont forget to post them here, i wanna se more
Same here. Bien.
Yes the grasshopper finds its way out at the end
I'm glad you enjoyed this, it's really pushing me to work harder
Here's more about the self portrait, wich appears to be a series of portrait-of-people-important-to-me that i consider really parts of me, that's why i included them in my SP. It is still just the beginning of the animation.
I realized i knew my face better than theres, i really painted some awfull portrait especially the 1st one (the dark hair girl)
