Do I get to call you 6 eyes now? It's very good and I like that page from your SB,
HAhaha blackspot. The more eyes the better I can see! Thanks a lot.
Here is one from just now. An apple, from life. Photoshap
It looks way better on my desktop computer screen than the laptop. So hopefully that one is correct!
awesome sketch book! and nice apple!!!!
Looks like the apple had a load of paint dumped on it. But it does have form.
Love all the sketches!
NicG - Thanks a lot!
Black Spot - Bit too saturated? Cheers though.
jabraniho - Thanks, and Thanks!
Just had to upload this TWICE. FFS.
Anyway. Briefing my last post. Putting it all on the line. Leaving college, pursuing art. Huge risk, but holy christ am I gonna give it my best shot. It is the only way.
Wish me luck.
Some imagination stuff in there, and the building is a WIP.
The last exercise was useful!
Help is very much appreciated!
Good luck. If you have supportive parents that will be there for the next few years, I'm sure you'll make it.
Black Spot - They are, I suppose. They just think that I'm a dreamer. I suppose I am, but I'm acting on them!
A sb page
Still life, WIPS. I scrubbed over it though, but good fun/practice.
Another Still life, Oil paints, again. Better. I will take further.
Photoshop WIP. A self portrait, using a photo I took of myself. I need to push it further. I don't know what to do with the background.
Nice economy of the brush strokes on the second still life.
Interesting pose on the self portrait. You could be loosely chained to a pillar.
You've got a great sketchbook, and those oil paintings looking really good.
If you decided to leave college and start with a career in art- good luck, you've got some talent and i sure you"ll make it all the way to a pro level.
I just think that maybe you should consider continuing with the studies and making art at the same time...but if you already decided, the only thing that i can tell you is:
keep up the great job and good luck!
Black Spot -Thanks once again for your comment. I have been trying to pay more attention to brush strokes and pencil lines recently. More confidence is needed!
I might do that to the SP, if I continue with it. Thanks again.
Fallenangel - Thanks broski. too late, haha. I am gonna give it my all though. There is no other way!
Quick environment painting. The reference had a lot of atmospheric perspective, I hope I managed to capture it.
that apple study makes me tingly. hrhrhrhrg
I took the last one a bit further. Totally threw away my ref, and tried some new things out. Some of which worked, some of which didn't.
I had trouble depicting trees with this more euphoric colour scheme. They just look pants.
great progression man
keep up the hard work looking forward to seeing more
have a good one

Thanks man. Don't worry. There are LOADS to come haha.
I did a bunch of environment thumbs. I found this really difficult. So I'm gonna push myself with them. I found thinking more before I start them helps a LOT.
The other is just a form/value/edges study. Process for fun.
Being a little bit lazy. Too distracted.
Today I was learning about the Ribcage. Bits from Loomis, Mentler and Robert Beverly Hales.
First two were mainly ref, some imagination.. The rest was from head, referring to ref a few times. Please correct any mistakes that you see. Thanks.
Hm, i like your sketchbook pages alot. Great to see you're intrested in... uh, let's call it poetry. I really like the short statements.
The latest studies look very helpful, maybe I should try that sometimes myself
The still lifes are looking good as well!
Keep up the good work!
That couch looks uncomfortable, but the figure is nice. I like the environments as well.
xbert - Thanks a lot for the comment. Made me smile I'm not huge into fantasy work, but there will definately be more once I understand anatomy more.
Black Spot - Cheers! The couch was a quick paint in, but you are definitely right!
Luckers - Thanks. I do enjoy the short quotes!
Anatomy, Anatomy, Sketchbook, Landscape photostudy and oil paint from life.
Fallen Angel - Thanks, will do!
Andre - thank you very much! It is self satisfying to see how far I have come in a few years!
I have been working on a more finished oil painting. Definately the longest I have spent on an oil painting. I'm REALLY enjoying it. The canvas is a bit too rough for my liking. I'm finding it difficult to make precise marks. I will upload the process and final when I'm done.
For now, just a study. 100% opacity brushes only. No pressure sensitivity etc. Was a fun exercise!
wow, you've improved like crazy over the past years! Great stuff, especially your environments and your anatomy studies. I wanna try that thing where you outline skeletons on photos... I don't know what it's called if it has a name, but Keep going!
loving ur drawings
may i know where you got those photo references for the ribcage studies?
lookin sick man keep up the hard work
