What I really wana see is some well thought out images that have a pretty clear story to them. Not a complex story, just a simple most likely cliche story but executed very well and interestingly!
Studying extremely important, but I think it's time you start working on picture making as well.
Ya your brush work needs work but it takes time. But if your not happy with an image maybe spend more time on it to really hammer it down. Min says its really important to give an image the time it needs and if something looks wrong to you FIX IT!
Don't take this the wrong way, but I think people are struggling because there's nothing near finished. From what you post, everything looks like it's going well, we cn only really crit more when things are beginning to get finalized. I guess I could say it would be cool to see you do more colour stuff from your head, also maybe more images/illustrations as oppose to simple character studies?
Maybe do a few figures in harder perspective?
Show us your sketch work man! then you may get more helpful feedback
You're values look great, your forms read really well, and you seem to be doing everything right in terms of studies. Don't take the lack of crits as a bad sign, chances are you will always be more critical of yourself. But yeah I want to see a kick ass finished illustration! In colour!
Take it easy man
nice i would suggest smoothing out your brushwork as a crit, your values are pretty good. and as for an illustration how about a unicorn flying over a few clouds with a rider wearing a latex suit and then have the monster from the LOTR mines of Moria scene.. you know where the dwarfs dug to deep.. have him flying over them or walking under them, then after your have illustrated that i want you to include a lens flare or two to give it that photographic look.
ok how about a real topic, one you could expect from a job maybe.... illustrate a character in his 40s who is sort of a survivor, he needs to have a gruff look... he lives off the land but is decently equipped for combat.

ok some more and i will probably throw some hardcore crit lol
Ok and after you do what kevin said, try doing some "hand armor warlord" hehehe
Anyway just keep drawing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ah! this one is especially well done
I like your loose brushstrokes and values.. But try to do something more defined and complex? Like this one http://www.conceptart.org/forums/att...1&d=1275768285 but bigger and more cinematic-like? I think that would definately suit your style
sexy sketchbook, I keep following.
