Yep, my stuffs. Stuffs because I work with multiple mediums.
So let's start with this one. Apologies for the lack of quality. Since this piece is too large for my scanner, I had to use a camera. I DID Photoshop it a little for the sake of size and outlining the faerie with the Burn tool.
This one was drawn using one of the reference pictures in the nudes thread. Then after sketching out the clothes, I inked her, erased, and used watercolor pencils.
This was used for a AotW contest on another forum. AotW stands for "Artist of the Week". The theme for this week was using a anime/manga concept. In all honesty, that particular style is my forte. This also turned out to be the only colored entry in the contest.
Comments and Criticism aren't just appreciated, but encouraged. I may not be working on this particular piece for awhile (since watercolors aren't the easiest to correct, or so I find), but such information will be valuable in the future.
multiple mediums is the way to go broadens your perspective of your art. interested to see more, keep it up
Here's another in watercolor pencils. Outline done in ink. Lettering done with a calligraphy...marker, I guess. Not exactly a pen...
Does anyone have any lighting tips for me? Especially in the hair? I used a combination of crimson, red, and orange for the right side of the hair, but it doesn't really look right.
