stimulus; Cheers!
Clodioz; Of course, nice ones. Those are done with a pen, right? Pretty good since it leaves no room for correction. My advice is to not skip the feet, else you might end up with feet being your weakness. They can be quite tough too. Plus they're important for balance and perspective. They seem to be from posemaniacs, what timer are they on? Nice job on the building, I think the upper floor and roof area especially are quite strong. It seems to be 'floating' above the valley on the left, though I assume the surroundings were of less concern to you. Nice job on those shadows.

Optional study later

Anthins, Hey tahnks for the advices, i didnt notice about the feet . Maybe it was because I did those from posemaniacs. I used the 30 seconds session...
About the building, I thought noone will notice that the left side is not at the same altitude that the right side, very good eye on that.

Here's the reference, an hotel from Valparaiso, Chile.

You can notice there's a lot of mistakes, but yeah its my first attemp drawing buildings

Cheers!

Clodioz ; Ah, that clears things up. I can see now where I got confused. Yea I did notice the altitude, but I couldn't see what the building was 'standing on'. I'm guessing it's the rock.
royaltea ; Nice! you won't regret it if you intend to learn anatomy. Always try to 'understand' the pose that you're drawing rather than just to copy. (not saying you did though). Good commitment, keep it up! And yea, I find heads to be real tough too.

Next one's up.

Thanks

Can you explain what you mean by understanding the pose? I think I have a really slight idea of what you mean but its only slight and it would be interesting to try drawing these with a different perspective in mind.

Well often when I'm not paying too much attention, I notice that I'm simply copying my reference. Which, I'm sure, doesn't teach me much. From what I've read (I don't attend any art school), you have to sort of analyze your reference. See how the body is positioned, which leg takes most of the weight, how limbs are stretched or bent, foreshortening, moving or steady. See how the anatomy "works", that kind of thing. Then you can reproduce it. I think Bridgman covers quite a lot of it, although I havn't gone trough it completely. Loomis too.
