Challenges of the week give artists the opportunity to create new and fantastic art based on a weekly theme set by the challenge moderators. They are also a great place to develop core skills.
Being featured on ConceptArt.org can get your artwork viewed by millions of artists a month including big industry leaders.

well, I guess I should say that I'm a *new* person, but that seems to have a little more pinache to it..
I'm afraid I haven't visited the lounge much, so I'm not sure how this goes, but I'm a 20 year-old who has just finished his 3rd year of Computer Science at Otago University in New Zealand (lots of caps), who has been bullied into a near obsessive enthusiasm for all things conceptart.org by my brother.. he's a CArtist involved in the movie industry but he's too scared to post, so he may be forced into it now :c) I've been bullying my university into setting up some game development qualifications and am particularly interested in the creative process required for gaming things.
I've got a website, or rather a collection of images in a set of ordered directories (it doesn't really have a 'front end' as such), but I think I'll hold fire on posting images until I have any I'm happy with, and I guess that's about me :c)
Brandy_ is a good boy
Glad to see more comp sci students taking an interest in art
