i looked at my portfolio and i realized it didn't have any mainstream comics at all. So i decided to fix that. I never really drew mainstream comics, just my own stuff and other creations. Not a good thing, especially if I'm looking to be a penciller. its hard drawing the Hulk. those crazy proportions, this is my first serious attempt at doing these two characters. hope i didnt bust it.

The lines are real good, but getting charged by the Hulk doesn't seem to pique Thor's interest all that much. Also, I'm not so convinced that the Hulk is charging...looks like he's about to tip over. Maybe have some dust kicking up behind him or something. Probably could use some more contrast as well.
Other than that, it's well done. I like the scales on Thor's armor a lot.
thanks derek, you are right, this needs "more" to it.
Small crit on Thor... his extended hand reads like there's a slice just above his thumb. Not a big deal though. On Hulk I'd watch that dark V shaped shadow under his chin. If You've got the skill to get the piece that far then I'm guessing that just some more time would get it working really well.

thanks bill, i didnt see your post till now. this piece has quite a few things wrong with it that add up, i just want to do the whole thing over. great crits from everyone, im learning alot from your feedback.
this is page 13 of a 23 page comic that is draining my mojo. i just want to get it finished at this point.
The drawing of Thor and the Hulk is a nice drawing, though the danger of the Hulk charging isn't stressed. The Hulk's expression looks rather vacant, there's no speed lines to give him movement and the scene urgency, and Thor seems to be staring out into the middle distance. If their eyes met it'd give the scene more intensity.

here is a loose sketch i did of my original character. i know there is mistakes with the arm, but, its supposed to be a loose character concept.penciled with a 2h pencil on velum paper, scanned in and water colored in photoshop.
