at any rate, I typed five characters ..
took some pictures from our courses exhibition in Draakoni gallery, they came out pretty shitty and blurry, but I'll put some up anyway. I also scanned my drawings, but they came out with the wrong file format and I can't post them at the moment, et mis sitasti see uuesti!
..finally scanned the pastards.
What?? No replys yet?? Soo amazing work. Great pencil rendering and great ideas. The bargue drawing is perfect as i can tell at that size. I'll definately watch this sb. Thanx for sharing.
I'll also post a few other stuff I've done for a guy.
a bit old and a bit new stuff. Some practical replies would be helpful!
GREAT work in here, the variety and quality are mindblowing.
Hrm, practical comments... in the pencil drawing of the man carrying the hose, his sleeves seem a bit rushed and flat compared to the rest of him. The hard-hat guy seems to have the same problem. Did you use references?
- thanks antonio for the welcoming comment. Don't know about the grate ideas part yet, cause I'm still cudgeling my brains with the technical part.
- doublethink - yea It's mine. The picture was taken in spring, from my art school's assessment. I'll try to take a better shot of it when I go back, cause temporally I left from there. Hope it's still there somewhere, I have no idea were I left it.
to pseudocognition - haa, these two look quite a joke, I agree. My main problem is folds, they all come out the same when I do a fast, one sitting drawing. I have to spend a whole lot more, just to get the folds right, but I don't have the constancy when I'm doing a fast, quick sketch. Well, guess I'll have to face and beat the bastard.
I really like this one: http://conceptart.org/forums/attachm...1&d=1228428919
The contrast is great and really works. And the fabric folds look good. But the hands don't seem to be up to par with the rest of it. Something with them feels a tad off almost as if they lack structure. Wish I could give you a paintover of what I mean but I royally suck at paintovers. Good work though, man. Keep posting. I wanna see more.
"This planet has - or rather had - a problem, which was this: most of the people on it were unhappy for pretty much of the time. Many solutions were suggested for this problem, but most of these were largely concerned with the movements of small green pieces of paper, which is odd because on the whole it wasn't the small green pieces of paper that were unhappy." -Douglas Adams
My goal: To get good enough to post in the Finally Finished Forum.
Amazing stuff, I like your brand of anatomy, its very easy on the eyes.
nice lighting, great line work
the love below made me smile
great work , keep them coming
The only real failure is the failure to try
some fresh oil portraits
@myorangehat - yea, I did this about a year ago or ever more. I remember how proud I was of myself over this drawing . The hands are a bit tiny yes. Thanks for your advising !!
and the rest of you also, thanksthanksthanks !
here are some of my latest paintings..
Well... those paintings are absolutely awesome, seriously. Especially like the Bouguereau one and the large closeup of a guys face.
here are some (quick)sketches. I used posemaniacs for pose reference and kicked the rest from my head.
as you can see my problems, when I'm drawing from my head are: can't render(only slightly and one way), can't draw hair(a messy mess). Of course there are other issues, but these are my befuddle problems.
If you can give suggestion it will be jolly grate, besides drawdrawdraw.
to kick this year off, I'll up some fast water based portraits.. I'll be glad to have your opinions!
a few more..
a quick sketch..
very very very impressive! you're so confident with that pencil, its inspiring
well done. good use of your pencil. keep sharing with us :]
