Damn damn damn.Amazing sketchbook and studies.I love your enviroments.I see that you are trying to incorporate some Algenpflegers techniques. But it works very well.Your still lifes totally remind me of his work. Also Adrian Wilikins did the same one http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_82tD4SLQCN...iro-study9.jpg if you haven't seen it.Love your sketchbook.Keep it up man.
nicely nicely! awesome environments, the ones in post 256 really do it for me that lighter study is pretty impressive, and the second one is from your head? the metal is good, as well as the plastic, I like the texture you put into it,
@Pixie Trick: Thanks pixie
@Greywoods: thx man, and I took you up on getting out of the comfort zone
@Rushlord: wow thanks man im glad you like my sb. No i didn´t know adrian did that one aswell, they look very similar so i guess i didn´t do to bad on my study
@JoeS: Thanks man. Yeah the second lighter is form head, glad you like it.
A tiny update but i have been extremely busy and tired lately
I tried tackling this weeks chow give it a vote if you like it
Wip´s I guess figured i would post them in here aswell.
VAUVVV your last chow and sketcbook great. I really like 251 post. and dou you use painter or photoshop? can you share your brush set your brushstroke is very impressive mine is so blur ı hate
That chow is great! A bit rough...but great! really like his costume, for some reason the knot at his belt level really caught my interest.
I'm not sure the perspective is 100% perfect, but certainly 95%
And that's at least 5.54% better than I can do! D
Wow, realy nice Chow, love the colors. Love the bluish/reddish color scheme.
grate colors , good light , amazing character .... its very cool . i am waiting to see more of your drawings .
Make sure that when you decide to switch bgs in an image from a warm to a cool one, that you make sure that some of that colour is reflected in the char. Her skin looked alright because of this in the eariler ones but when you added all the blue and green she started to look very red.
What am I saying... Awesomeness!!!!
@karantina: Thanks alot. I use photoshop, and sure i can share my brushset i´ll se if i can figure out how till next time. Btw my brushset is nothing special I hardly use anything other than basic round...
@Greywoods:Thanks man. The knot.... well it might be that the red is clashing alot agains the hands and armor
@jskotte: Thanks alot. Im happy you like the color scheme since i chnaged quite a lot last second
@Ricardo Robles: Thanks man glad you like it
@alexson: thanks man
@raminafshari: Thanks alot, and here is one more drawing
@Pixie Trick: thanks pixie. The change in background was because i felt the character didn´t stand out enough so i might have overdone the contrast between the character and background a bit...
A single picture update again... gotta do some studies to fill the void
It was nice surprise to see what you have done in the last weeks! I enjoy that girl with the sword - really thought-through work. In other ones probably some small anatomy issues, but you'll manage it. Keep it up mate, you're doing great.
I agree with the decision to change the bg (looks awesome!), but I think also doing a bit of hue shifting on her skin might have helped a bit.
This latest one is also very awesome! Only thing I can say right now is a) it looks like it's underwater, and b) the hilight on the guy's face is brighter than on his hand which doesn't really make sense because his arm/hand would be blocking some of the light + the hand is closer. I think there would be a nice bright bit at the base of the index finger.
very very nice. Great colors again, really like all those reflections. And really good to see these latest personal works, how long time do you spend on them?
@Seraph Fawkes: Thanks man. hehe yeah i figured it was about time I started doing some more personal works and spend longer time on the studies.
@alexson: Thanks man.
@Pixie Trick: Shit didn´t notice that with the light. Thanks for pointing it out though.
@jskotte: Thanks alot. not too sure about the time i worked on them over a 3 day period not sure about the hours though:/.
wuhuuu upate time
some greyscale heads from head
and a bouguereau study, damm it was hard to get it to look somewhat right, though it was a good experience

Wow man that last picture...I think I did that picture at some point in the past, yours is like better in every aspect. Really need to do some portraits. Very nice and vibrant. Keep it up.
Thought the neck/shoulder part looks a bit odd - it might be correct nevertheless.

Oh, great head studies! The very right one looks strange, but the other two is great. And Bouguereau is very nice too.
mmm love those hues!
Though sometimes I feel like you're over saturating something instead of making it darker.
This is somewhat evident in your magenta and teal hues.
that way a part of your images is not in its correct value or saturation, because some hues look more saturated when combined with a different value. (Chroma)
idk if you've read this already.
Keep it up! some hueshifts here are pretty awesome! :]
@Greywoods: Thanks man, though at the speed you are moving you´ll kick my ass in no time
@Seraph Fawkes: hehe you noticed. Yeah the head to the very right looks odd, I got to do more head studies
@alexson: Thanks man glad you like
@Vatsel: right on the spot. I do have a tendency to saturate the colors the darker it get´s though that only works in some cases:/.
Thanks man Glad to see you posting again
mmmm random stuff.
Quick still, trying to make a habbit of doing one every day
2nd acrylic ever

O Man awsome work man
your doing all the right studies
keep up the hard work looking forward to seeing more
sketchbook updated October 6th
Looking good, very nice master study. Really nice animal sketches and I really like that skeleton guy smoking, but I think the perspective is a bit off on the cane, too big ellipse on top.
man ooooo man loking relly nice!!!! i hawent seen your stuf befor butt its really good!!! kipp them koming!!!
Don't really have much to comment on the digital studies - good job as always. But I would like to note that you pencil work has improved a lot more. I remember that I last time commented that your pencil stuff needed a more confident line - you got it now, boy. Congratulations, level up!
The free style faces are still a biiiiit off. The issues are with the form. I would recommend some practice with drawing human faces broken down into solid simpler shapes, bones etc. PS: looove the bird sketches.
