I'm JR Ewing, I'm 20 years old and a graphic arts major. Over the past year or so I felt very unmotivated with drawing. Hopefully a thread on CA will help my laziness.

Hey ewing! Thanks for stopping by my sketchbook. I really like the pear thumbnail, but maybe you might want to use the blur tool to get rid of the stippling, since I can still see the circle brush you used.

I'm working on taking photographs of my new stuff. For now, he are sketches I've done the past year or so.
Here is a recent project that I just got done with.
With this one, I realized you would benefit greatly from a softer pencil. 4B is good. Just something to add darkness; depth. Even adding a very minimal touch of dark tone will take a drawing to a whole new level.
