Hey guys, I'm Austen,
When I started my CA sketchbook I was 19, now I'm 22, I've learned a lot since I've been here, and I hope to learn a whole lot more ( cause I'm surely not getting anything beneficial from my school...) each day I'm here. So take a look and see how things progress and by all means, drop a critique or two, I would greatly appreciate it.
To whom it concerns, I moved all my drawings from this post to my second post.

Oh, man, something wicked is going on here. The shark page is particularly cool. I'd like to see more non-comic book-esque anatomy- slightly podgy, lanky, fat, etc. Also, I'd like to see some more female forms.
These are awesome, and you're makin' me jealous, man.
A few recent pages from my sketchbook, I finally repaired my old Loomis book and began studying it, im amazed how off on heads i was!
here are a few pages of creating heads in a loomis like fashion, most are my own, a couple copied. Also a random doodle page for a project idea. Let me know what you think
gonna get back to work now, whee!
Swell stuff! You can already see the improvement. Try some big environments with dynamic perspective, and lots and lots of little characters, ala Where's Waldo style.
Nice work, man. Very stylised.
Thanks for stopping by my sketchbook, too. Look forward to seeing more work from you.

Megatard makes me mega happy. You're gettin' really awesome with the faces. I like the drawings with red, it shows all the steps you took and looks neat.
Killer stuff man, the picture of the drunk and the baby about made me bust my gut. Also digging the chick hugging the skeleton pilot looking dude, it's all good though. Lets keep in touch man, maybe sometime we could collab on something. Love your lines.
Scetchbook: View the exhibitionist's stuff.
you got a great dynamic in your lines.. and you got really nice ideas.. its very inspiring to watch your stuff.. keep drawing
Hey Fellas, Just unloading some stuff for you to mull over.
First off, I need to draw more often, a whole lot more often, Second, I'm going to be putting up some crappier stuff as well so you guys can pick out my weaknesses better . So let me know what you think! In the mean time, im gonna finish these last few pages of my sketchbook.
I knew it was a good idea to subscribe to your thread. Every time I come back, more beautiful work. Keep it up, dude. Diggin it.

You're amazing man.
Sorry I can't provide with critiques because I like what you're doing and it seems that you are already on your way to somewhere cool.

Hey, thanks guys! That's awesome to hear, makes me feel a lot more confident about my stuff! Here's some more for you guys to take a look over, I think im figuring out the body pretty well so far. I need to go sit in on some life drawing classes though. That would surely be benificial.
