these are great, especially the first one.
Holy cow!! Those are amazing works, so full of volume! Thanks for posting and good luck with finding work!
I'm completely blown away by this.
Your rendering skills are simply incredible - it's rare to see a collection of paintings so painstakingly detailed and rendered, they're quite breathtaking.
I think I've marked this down as one of my top 5 threads on CA ; well done sir, you've captured my heart.
I create my own textures and dont like to use a lof of effects so your compliment means a lot.
Im really flattered you think its great, thank you!
Thanks for the compliments, I appreciate it!
I spend a lot of time on these (about 2.5 weeks) and when someone takes notice it really means a lot. To have others interested in my work is a priviledge - thanks!
Thank you chupacabra!
Nope no 3d paintovers, photomanips, tracing or anything like that.
Ill glance at a photo to make sure im on target but thats it.
Thanks so much for taking the time to comment, it means a lot to me coming from talented artists like yourself.
absolutely intense. Thank you so much for posting these. I can't stop looking at them.
Please stop by my sketchbook!
I'm blown away. Amazing work man. Truly. Just curious, How long does one of your illustrations takes you to finish. You have a very polished style that seems like you put some time into.
Wow, this work is incredible!
If you struggle finding work, there is no hope for the rest of us! I agree with the crit about the horse and the man creating an unfortunate tangent in the second painting, but with the sense of chaos in the painting anyway, it didnt just out at me until a second look.
Beautiful work, i think the frog creature is brilliant!
Thanks so much for sharing!
Im glad you like that one, I very much enjoyed working on it.
Thank you for that compliment!
Thank you, midknight
I like to take my time and I love to work.
Thanks for the compliments on rendering, brokencow!
Roughly 2.5-3 weeks at a usual workday - 8 hours sometimes longer.
I know this will be to my financial detriment once I start taking in work, but im alright with that, im quite used to being a starving artist.
I really appreciate the observation and taking the time to mention it.
You can be very proud of your work. That is simply stunning!
Not only are the paintings wonderfully painted, with an almost unreal sense of depth, but the pure compositions are spot on as well. I can't imagine anyone who wouldn't hire you. The first two ones are so right, the action, the movement.. And With My Fathers Sword is epic as well. Thank you, I am a fan!

Ive never heard that one, but you owe me one sheet of bounty paper towel, a squirt of windex and a mouthful of coffee for making me shower my keyboard becasue I laughed so hard.
Thanks for this!
yeah, there is something about your intense lighting that gives your images a unique quality. I wondered if you used renders too. they're really clean and powerful. I'm going to squirrel them away for dark days. thanks for sharing, and good luck!
No renders, no photomanips, no poser, no tracing - none of that stuff.
I dunno maybe im old school but I just dont feel like you learn anything that way.
I appreciate the compliments ozan, to have talented artists tell me a work ive done is powerful and unique is an incredily high compliment - thanks so much.
I still feel like ive got such a long way to go.
Im looking forward to getting some time to explore other peoples galleries around here and leaving some drool, hehe.
Very clean rendering! I like your work, good job on those!
You have a good sense for lighting.
Would love to see more range in colors and the lady creature on the boat seems to stare inside the umbrella with her spyglass.
i like the last image, the monster on the left is cool
oh my goodness @ containment breach.
the top half is great, the camcorder screen sends the piece over the top.
If you look closely the lady isnt looking in the spyglass, she's looking down - the shot is supposed to be after she has looked through it - hard maybe at first to notice but the position of her eyelids gives it away.
Im currently working on a warm piece, so im with you on expanding the range of my color pallette's.
Thanks for the insight and taking the time to comment.
Monster good work. After only seeing these few I'd be confident of identifying you from your style alone if I was to see your work elsewhere; that's quite an achievement IMO.
Good luck with the jobs. I doubt you'll have a problem. I'm also thinking of getting into the industry in the future although if many of the competition were anywhere close to your standard I'd give up the idea today
excellent work, far and above what I could do. I like the disorder in the first couple, and strong focus on the babe - interesting concept, giving her a distorted face. Makes you wonder just who or what she's trying to attract. The liche uses a good dramatic use of hight, you may want to exaggerate that further? Nice critters at the end. My only crit would be edge treatment. You have these blended, painterly figures and backgrounds, but certain edges are so sharp the give the impression of photo collage.
hmmm maybe it's just that the one beastman image looks photoreal, right up to the overexposure of the sky.
The close up of the lich also shows some separation between the liche and his background. Maybe try blending some of these edges a tad? Elwell put in a good tutorial on this site about rules for edges. I'm also not quite sure about the lighting in the last piece. Maybe more contrast?
Then again, if Coro posts here with nothing but praise, maybe I should just shut up now and clap my hands.
wow amazing stuff!
I like "with my father's sword" and "The Carrionking" the most! super epic! ^^
Thanks so much for the vote of confidence, I very much hope your right!
And I appreciate those compliments more than you may think; I believe every artist inherently wants to be identified by thier style I think and this really is a massive, massive compliment.
Cool I really love the containment drawing.. Very strong contrasts between the creature and the scientists...
