My names Luke , in 16 and and looking to get into Digital Painting.
I find it amazing and everytime I see a digital painting it blows my mind, the work thats put into them really shows.
I recently ordered my first Wacom tablet, Its from the Bamboo range, as I heard they were good for beginners. It should be at my house by Monday hopefully.
I come across this website and thought it would be great for me to improve through, hopefully I can get advice from some of the great artists here.
Firstly, Im a complete newcomer to Photoshop, I have used to for about 2-3 years now but I have never attempted Digital Painting. I used to just learn the basics from creating Signatures thats are used for forums with Renders and stuff. I got pretty decent at that and thought Its not really the area I want to work with. Digital Painting has always looked excellent to me.
I have watched some Tutorials on YouTube and seen how difficult it looks, although the artists make it look so simple lol.
Is there any advice, tips, help with brushes that anyone here an offer me.
I would really appreciate it,
Putting aside digital work, do you draw? The basics of art are independent of what medium you use, and you can lean more, faster, with a pencil and sketchpad than you can with a tablet.

Yeh, Im a pretty good drawer, if i say so myself. I have always been into all kinds of art, but digital painting is the area im looking to better my skills in.
I do sketch often, just little things. Sometimes I like to draw a big pieces but not much lately, as I just finished school and looking for a job etc..
