amazing thread, I am in love with some of those cars
amazing work! I like it. First you make the 3d to get the shadows and then makes a render 2d in photoshop? Tell us your technics please!!
Wow.. just.. whoa.
These are friggin' cool!
Holy f****ng shit dude!!! Oh my god what amazing stuff youve got! damn.. TEACH.. Teach me! please! how can you do such realistic renders/drawings/paintings/whatever/?? Freakin amazing designs! so perfect in perspective and realism of light and reflections! do you do all in 3D first? and then paint over?
You can look at my stuff at dekus.deviantart.com
Awesome stuff. I was in car design as well. I can tell you like the Maybach Excelero I have a couple friends at GM right now. It's too bad concept work will never see the light of day (on the road that is)
ohh wow, thx for posting these awesome designz.
I'm having a really good time looking at your works, particularly the automotive material. Here and there I see the odd relatively minor issue but it's all too much fun to want to get all critty and picky.
Wonderful. And also please don't be so heavy upon yourself with regard to the car design. I see a future in it for you if you want it. Auto makers are naturally super fussy these days simply because it that much harder now to be original over and above what has been before. So take heart, this is really impressive work.
My hats off to you.
Master of none or not, I still wish I knew how to do half of the stuff in your thread. Very inspiring and ass kicking, thank you!
nice designs! especially image 5 and 6 from top page. damn nice and slick!
good work my friend =)
These are just insanely good!!
Thanks for posting.

Exquisite works, Sir. This is class.
HunterKiller, Mikko K, Illustrator Wayne, jabraniho, egerie, zweiDee, cyqunea, mr. m, Pavel Sokov, Angroc, instant Indian: Thank you guys, Im really glad you like em and thanks for giving feedback. Ive put some links to some REALLY interesting stuff at the bottom here. I think theyre amazing!
Mox3d: thankyou! I read in one of your posts youre in the business; Id love to see your stuff.
Dekus: No these are almost all photoshop over biro. Perspective isnt too hard- dont get stressed building a lot of Scott Robertson construction lines if that way of working doesnt suit you: Robertson is immensly skilled and makes it look easy but a lot of car stuff is spoiled by trying to fit into wrongly constructed 2 point perspective.
OK here are some really cool things I like a lot:
Dekus youll know these guys from CDN. Tonnes of neat ideas. One of them worked with a friend of a friend on some yachts and the results are very cool:
The Liza concept is amazing; its believable and conservative but really refined and full of clever detailing and auto-style tricks.

Am I the only one that thinks this would make a bad ass Batmobile?
These look great thanks for sharing.
I love the Tumbler sports-tank in the new Batman movies. This thing is made of bucky-carbon and diamond fibre laminate and would be torn to pieces if Bruc Wayne drove it! Id like to make a Batmobile like the wierd one-wheeled vehicle at the end of Against a Dark Background, (a bit like the Entity in southpark only even scarier).
Whoa! This is so slick...My laptop fell over....
Are you hiring or need an intern? Really nice rendering with some great designs.
enjoying the scenery
my jaw just dropped, as i watched the car designs, i could also feel the gravity increasing (nasty feeling, heheh).
Dude, those are unbelievably sweet! Its hard to even begin to describe how inspiring all of them are
fantastic work Velocity Kendall, I love seing good industrial design. Some really great ideas.
owww my thats some stunning work
these are incredible sweet work loving the cars
your interiors are amazing
Hello, thanks for having a look at our stuff guys, its a real boost that you like it but the feedback is the real gold, cheers.
Baze no internships yet Im afraid, but it looks from your thread that you're doing fine already, I really liked your Renault Altica style sketches. Stick at it and aim for the OEMs, or do as we did and work in studios for a while and then start your own venture, its a lot of work/stress/fun!
Edit: a year on, one of our developments won a prize, we're all horribly busy, do start your own thing its great! After the first bit he he.

The OEMs would be great if they were hiring. Normally we have interviews at our gradshows and this year there isn't a single manufacturer that is coming to our school. Times are rough for this industry (stating the obvious). You guys have a really great style, hopefully we'll meet one day. Maybe at an autoshow where one of us will show casing our newest design!
enjoying the scenery
Fun with 3D and a strange Valentines Card in the mail
