I hope this is the right section.
Following the advices i read here, I made a greyscale speed painting before switching to color painting.
I'm using digital airbrush for painting and I'm now stuck on hair.
Any advice on how to paint a hair with airbrush. Or is there a better tool?
I'm really new here and just getting around and don't know this place very well.
So if there is some tutorial on hair in painter could some one post a link?
Oh, and I'm sorry if the image hurts your eyes, it's just, that I never painted before and this is my first time.
I would really appreciate an advice.
Mm, this is better placed in the PAINTER forum, but it'll likely be moved for ya.
Use the paint brush tool and paint the hair in locks, not strands. Work large and undefined to detail. I'm pretty sure there's one or two tutorials on the subject so check the Tutorials and Painter forums. Use the search function.
Sorry for misplaced post, and thanks for the advice, I'll try with paintbrush.
There isn't so much a "Better brush" but understanding the brush methods. The process is pretty much the same which is "Work in a large area first, worry about details last".
I use hard brushes for rendering then softer larger brushes to blend just like I did when I painted with gouache and watercolors.
